Booked a Rapido. Driver called:
“Bhaiya, extra dena hoga.”
Booked an Uber:
“Bhaiya, fare bahut kam hai.”
Then why did you accept the ride?
Booked an Ola:
Driver confirmed, then cancelled after 5 minutes.
The entire taxi aggregator system in India is a mess. There is not a single app that feels customer-centric. Half the cars are poorly maintained, drivers keep negotiating outside the app, and cancellations are normalised.
Once someone travels to places like Dubai or parts of Southeast Asia, they realise how far behind our basic service standards are.

The stretch of road (~500 mts) from Cafe Amudham (next to Aurobindo Marg) to Green Park Market has been pitch dark for months now due to non-functioning street lights. This is causing serious safety concerns for residents, pedestrians and especially women at night.

▪️गुजरात हमेशा से स्वच्छ हवा और जलवायु परिवर्तन प्रतिबद्धता का पालन करते हुए औद्योगिक विकास को गति देने में अग्रेसर रहा है, तब कॉन्फ्रेंस इस गुजरात के इस मॉडल को दूसरे प्रदेशों में लागू करने के उपायों पर गहन चर्चा की।
