Nature is amazing 2. Four years ago I grew some watercress plugs but they were wiped out by a subsequent heatwave. I was out there today in a heavy fog and found a large clump on the otherside of the garden in a terracotta pot. Bonus! I love watercress, thank you garden😋

There's nothing sustainable about krill fishing. Krill are the foundation of the Antarctic marine ecosystem, relied on by whales, seals, penguins and countless other species. The exploitation of krill for profit has to end.

My investigation into activism and growing tension within Girlguiding following its “no boys” policy change is in The Sunday Telegraph today. I began looking into this after seeing a video from a Berkshire guiding group that appeared to show children being drawn into activism. What I found: • Some guide leaders buying pro-trans badges for entire units - including Rainbows (aged 5–7) • Activities encouraging girls to engage in campaigning - including writing to MPs and attending protests • Links between some leaders and external activist groups and political organisations, including a Pride event Alongside this, volunteers on both sides describe a growing breakdown in trust - and an increasingly hostile environment inside the organisation. Thanks to @HS2ltd and SCS JV for the invitation to the launch of the final #HS2 TBM, named Karen, after Karen Harrison – one of the UK's first female train drivers. The 1600 tonne machine has now started it's 7.2km long drive towards Euston.

I have stage 4 endometriosis. Today I've been in absolute agony with nausea, hips, back, even my shoulders in pain. This disease is brutal, chronic, incurable and it exclusively affects women. And yet, once again, a biological male, LARPing as a woman, has been appointed as a spokesperson/representative for endometriosis. Women are being erased from our own suffering. Our pain, our bodies, our disease. OURS!! Appointing a man, who can NEVER experience this isn't inclusion, it's invalidation. We deserve advocates who actually live this reality. This is NOT ok!
