This is Woodward Academy near my parents’ home in Atlanta. Many Black middle-class families send their kids to private schools like this. My middle-class sister’s kids have never attended public school. We’re boring & largely off the radar. These are not “urban scholarships.”

This is a typical black middle-class neighborhood in the Atlanta area. This is not AI. The black middle-class is invisible in the US because we are boring. We’re not depicted in movies, TV shows, etc. because parents work everyday, attend youth sports event, go to church, etc.

@iAnonPatriot I arrived here 40 years ago..There were no programs as such. Australia had a “Fair Go” mantra, meaning work hard, contribute and assimilate. Plenty American expats including many who happened to be black raised families, put our kids through University, own our homes with no DEI!
