@Historywithhis1 Starting a podcast now has to be something you feel like doing for creative satisfaction because the odds of making a living on it are horrendously low. It's a bit of a lottery ticket. It could work, but lots of luck plays into it.

Honestly, how do you do all this while working 60 hours a week I know you've faced similar struggles. I want to build something cool, nothing crazy but the ability to turn history into something I can do to provide food for my kids but starting from 0 is so crazy even with the algorithm helping and overstreching my bank paying for the premium plus to help with reach it just seems almost unattainable. I found history on fire a while ago and was immediately enthralled by the way you craft a story then shortly after I found MartyrMade and it made me want to do something similar.

Current plan: 1. A translation of the Tao Te Ching by yours truly coming out in June 2. A historical fiction about the life of Caravaggio coming out in Italy in September and in English in November 3. A new podcast about Roman history making its debut probably in September.

@JZevchek A friend suggested looking at the story of Juan de Salcedo (a Spanish capt in the midst of this story). There wasn't enough material on Salcedo, but eventually I understood that the context was gold and should not be passed
