It's mad that committing a crime isn't just an automatic guillotine for any and all attempts to gain any kind of residential rights in the country. What's more I suspect most normies think that is the case & if you told them the truth they would think you were lying.

Another race-based law in Canada, but this time it's public safety that is affected. Aboriginal applicants can bypass the mandatory safety course and test with just an elder’s recommendation – no certified training. It gets even better: children under 12 can get a firearms licence for “traditional hunting practices” based solely on a recommendation, with no course or standardized test required. Two-tier gun safety by ancestry is irresponsible, dangerous, and racist.

If you want to be a Christian in the public eye, you may have your "15 minutes of fame", but expect Liberals, Conservatives, et al, to try to destroy your reputation through gossip campaigns, smear campaigns etc. In those moments rejoice. Stay faithful. Repent of what you need to repent of. Expect God to raise your reputation from the dead.

I talked to a former Conservative MP who served with Marilyn Gladu and they told me they were "not surprised" by her crossing the floor. They said that Gladu has always been an "attention seeker" and that she is likely not running for re-election and wanted to get back at Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party for a perceived lack of favour in caucus including not being a prominent speaker at the 2026 CPC convention in Calgary. The MP did say too many MPs with difficult personalities have been protected from nomination challenges over the years and have developed a primadonna complex about how important they think they are, and what they deserve. Sounds like d'Entremont, Jeneroux, and Gladu. The "where is my golden throne!?!" mentality. Although the MP also warned some people in caucus also do think there needs to be adjustments when it comes to which MPs are given prominence and which ones are not. It's a delicate balance of not letting BIG egos demand attention for the sake of it, and also making sure grassroots Conservative MPs aren't overshadowed in favour of people seen as part of an inner circle around Pierre Poilievre.

A connection of mine (in Canada) received this from a church elder: "However, in its present form, there is nothing in Bill C-9 that poses a legitimate threat to the Scriptures, or our ability to broadcast them, without first requiring very drastic changes to other speech legislation in Canada." As Canadian Christians, especially as officers of the church, we should not cave in this way to the pressure to downplay and even lie about the threats that Canada is facing. It may be that there are other legal protections for the preaching of the Word but to remove the "good faith clause" is a legitimate threat to the Scriptures, especially the proper interpretation thereof. We are seeing it again and again. Every attack on the church in Canada rides on the back of many Christians who stick their head in the sand. It happened during COVID lockdowns when we heard cries of "that's not persecution!" and we will hear the same thing in the future, as a nation that once protected the true church, continues to strip away her freedoms. I'm sure the imprisonment of the first Christian for Bill C-9 will also be greeted with cries from Canadian Christians: "That is not persecution!" Ultimately the blame falls at the feet of a lukewarm and lazy church.

Mark Carney is seizing a costly Liberal majority that voters denied him, and doing so through backroom deals. In January, MP Gladu said that floor crossers should face voters in a byelection to give voters the final say. I could not agree more. She should do so. The people in her community voted for our Conservative vision of a Canada that is affordable, safe, and strong at home, not for the costly Liberal government she has now joined. She should honour her word and let voters decide.
