Tuesday appears to be one of the stronger days in my tests actually. These were my results when i tested it couple of years ago. But monday is notably weak being the only day that averaged negative returns. (Just checked for 24 and 25 which aren't included in my test and both had good mondays. Maybe monday is catching up/rebalancing with the rest of the days.)

The normal day-of-week effect used to be weakness on Monday (and Tuesday) and stronger in the final days of the week. But when geopolitical tensions go up it can flip around. Traders now expect market moving events to be announced and/or conducted outside the normal trading hours, and often over the weekend.

A bit of a stock market rebound to start the week has become the norm. But as long as geopolitical uncertainty stays high those gains tend to melt away as the weekend approaches. It's anybody's guess how long that pattern will continue. Oil $USO is a key factor to watch. It still has MoM at +10, the maximum. That means another quick push higher is still possible. But the risk of a sudden pullback to the RevL (~$90) has to be considered too. Bitcoin is in bullish mode, but weekly trend is mild bearish. So, the current status is still a bear market rally.

@barneyxbt Governements now also decide how much you get. It's called "taxes". UBI doesn't need to be your only income.

alright let me break this down for you… everyone celebrating universal basic income as the answer to ai taking all the jobs has no idea what they’re actually asking for… you will own nothing and you will be happy. you will depend on the government for every dollar. they will decide how much you get, what you can spend it on, and they will make sure they can turn it off whenever they want. that’s not freedom that’s a leash with a direct deposit where you won’t be able to ever earn more this is the beginning of communism “we’ll take care of you” has never ended well in the history of civilization. not once… and if you want to know how the story actually ends go rewatch the matrix. a system that keeps you alive just enough to be useful while extracting everything from you. ubi isn’t a safety net it’s a cage. they literally hate you. and they’re going to convince you to walk into it with a smile on your face

JUST IN: Elon Musk says AI will make jobs "optional" in the future due to "universal high income."

Everyone complaining about AI-slop, but the real, organic, slop is business podcast patois. The content is mostly re-heated Harvard Business Review articles, expressed as some forbidden knowledge: "Teams are only as aligned as their last hard conversation." "The best operators are just good editors." "Speed is a strategy." I just made these up, and they don't really mean anything, but when someone with a 9-figure exit says it over a Guinness all of a sudden it becomes a sort of branded mantra. This used to be the purview of Hudson News thought-leaders that published a book as a funnel to 5-figure speaking gigs at flyover conferences. Now, these ideas are the prevailing Silicon Valley dialectic. The result is that 75% of this graph is just mainlining empty-suit management speak. If you're actually interested in where the world may be going you should replace most of this with talking to people who never see this graph/use the phrase "information diet"
