Kai had 30 touches, 5 shots, 2 on target, and a goal against City away. He totally transformed how we play. He occupied defenders, held the ball up, brought others into play, was dangerous in the air... everyone clearly trusts him. Give him Saka next week and we are going to be very good.
Big chances need to go in. They didn't. I can forgive a volume striker missing chances (Haaland also missed chances today), I can't forgive 0 attempts, 0 on target game after game against semi-decent opposition.
There's a new vision, and it's better.

Ultimately the highlight reels will define Kai Havertz’ game today. And even though I disagree with it, that’s sadly how it is, since he should have scored at least one of them. But what I saw was a player who has clearly been trying to get back up to speed following an injury ridden year, since today was his first 90 of the season. And I saw a player who gave us a fighting chance by being a consistent out ball. Without him, we wouldn’t have even competed today.

If you’ve watched Bruno Fernandes and Declan Rice closely, you’ll know Bruno always delivers when his team needs him most, yet we were gaslighted into thinking Rice deserved Premier League Player of the Season. Rice hasn’t carried Arsenal or his teams in defining moments and that's what makes a player stand out. The only player outside that elite bracket doing it consistently is Bruno, even Rayan Cherki has delivered more than Rice this season.

If we don't win the league this season ( I think we will ), yesterday's result won't be why we lost the league. It will be because we could only take 4 points from Liverpool, Forest, Utd, Wolves, Brentford & Bournemouth.
We played well yesterday, the sad thing is we could have been playing that way for sometime now but Arteta chose to be conservative.

All things considered, the Havertz signing has been a monumental failure. Four years in and his Arsenal career has been littered with misses and performances that has costed Arsenal several titles. You can’t mention one positive impact of that signing.

Arteta has been talking about games being decided in the boxes for years now. Arsenal spent a lot of money in the summer. The issues haven’t exactly been resolved.
His negligence in running players into the ground and not giving them adequate rest when the opportunity comes is comfortably his biggest flaw in my opinion.
Timber and Zubimendi touching the field against Portsmouth. Saka against Mansfield. Why?
Sign adequate players to come in for your stars and you won’t arrive in April without your best players who are injured because they’ve been flogged. It has happened every single season since he got here.
Man City were struggling then went and took two of the best players in the league and now look at them.
He has to learn for next year regardless of what happens this campaign.
