When I told people I was self financing a no-crew feature film last year, I got lots of pushback. Most didn’t understand why I wanted to go smaller with my next film, instead of scaling things up like everyone else wants to. Cut to a year later - The film has already received festival invites, led to funding for a larger feature film this summer, and created more new opportunities than any other project I’ve made - all before post-production has even wrapped up. If I tried to go bigger with this one, I might still be sending emails in hopes of getting it off the ground. Takeaway: Follow your gut, and when everyone tells you to stop, you’re probably on the right track.

@ItsMattWheeler Both copywriting and affiliate marketing will earn you money online. Copywriting gives you more freedom though since you can build a highly profitable online business as a copywriter vs an affiliate marketing.
