That’s a clever rhetoric, but it sneaks in about six assumptions Christians don’t actually believe. First: God did not “create you as a sinner.” Christianity teaches God created humanity good. Sin is the corruption of that good through free rebellion. Saying “God created sinners” is like saying a car manufacturer “creates wrecks” because some drivers crash them. Second: hell is not “God throwing a tantrum because you didn’t compliment Him enough.” The Christian claim is that God is the source of life, goodness, truth, love, joy — the whole package. To eternally reject Him is to eternally reject the very thing that fulfills the human person. Hell is not “you forgot to flatter God.” Hell is the final result of saying: “My will, not Yours.” C.S. Lewis put it bluntly: “The doors of hell are locked on the inside.” Third: love that cannot be rejected is not love. If God forces everyone into communion with Him regardless of their will, then humans are not persons — they’re pets or puppets. And finally, the irony: People often say, “How could a loving God judge evil?” …while simultaneously demanding a universe where no one is ever judged for evil. You can’t have both.

The math doesn't work for that. With dropping TFR across the US and across the developed world, the only way to get enough butts in seats to keep the doors open is to recruit foreign students to pay full freight, and their test scores be damned. There are simply far too many college seats available and far too few warm bodies to fill them. Universities have preached contraception and abortion for decades. They filled their classrooms with this hot air nonsense, and now they reap the whirlwind. About half the colleges in the US are going to close in the next decade or so, and it will just get much, much worse with each passing decade. That's how the demographics work.

I fully support the reinstatement of standardized testing requirments for UC admissions. While perhaps well-intentioned, the removal of the SAT/ACT from the admissions process has clearly led to the lowering of standards in high schools across the state. However, I didn't sign the "reinstate the SAT" letter circulated by Berkeley math profs that was released today. While it made point I agree with, its focus on STEM and its emphasis solely on math are misplaced and counterproductive. While basic math skills are obviously a prerequisite for STEM fields, basic math reasoning is essential in a growing number of non-STEM fields, and we are letting down all UC students if we don't work to ensure they ALL have basic math competence. More importantly, as bad as a decay in math skills is for STEM, the acute decay in reading and writing competence among STEM majors is arguably more of a threat to the future of STEM fields and society. There is no reason to compartmentalize our expectations for UC admission in the way this letter suggests. What UC and our students need is for us to bring back standardized testing of math **and** verbal skills for **all** fields of study.

I grew up homeschooled after 5th grade, and one of the things I'm most thankful for is that I read great history books. We went to homeschool conventions and found books outside the public-library-Scholastic bubble. These books about America's history were based closely on primary sources. So I grew up knowing about America's Christian heritage, and Columbus' full story. I knew that George Washington wasn't a deist before the internet told me he was. I knew the Pilgrims didn't slaughter the Indians, that the Great Awakening revivals directly influenced the American Revolution, and that there is no constitutional basis for "separation of church and state." That's why I wanted to get the good old books and the primary sources in circulation again. Just imagine the change in the fabric of our nation if our children are not taught that America is bad. I'm republishing original sources like Columbus' journals, the Plymouth writings, and many more. There are 22 books in the collection right now, with more on the way. RFK Jr. says medical orthodoxy on issues like vaccines has severely impeded medical treatment in the United States. “There’s actually something called the Semmelweis effect.” “It describes the phenomenon that when a new idea is introduced into Western medicine, the initial reaction is revulsion, rejection, censorship.” “Lock in mental institutions, disowned and vilified, demonized, and silenced in any way.” “These orthodoxies have really impeded medical treatment in this country.” “It tends to be a doctrinaire profession where you’re doing a lot of memorization.” @alexmarlow @breitbartnews @SecKennedy

Fun facts that prove unborn babies are HUMAN BEINGS! -A baby’s heart starts beating about 22 days after fertilization. -The baby’s heart pumps 26 quarts of blood per day. -By 15 weeks, the baby’s heart has already beat approximately 15,800,000 times. -In total, a baby’s heart beats about 54 million times between conception and birth. -Brain connections formed by 15 weeks’ gestation last into adulthood. -Starting at 10 weeks of gestational age, the fetus begins the breathing process. -The kidneys already filter toxins. -Intestines have started the lifelong contractions that propel food through the digestive system. -Surgeons have successfully performed surgery on 15-week old babies in utero.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! JD Vance just WENT OFF after an elderly man DIED as part of a fraud scheme busted by the Trump admin He was supposed to be getting health services. HE GOT ZERO. "That man lived his final moments on this earth NEGLECTED while a FRAUDSTER got rich by providing services that he never actually provided!" "Nothing, no services, no help, no check-ins, and the very man, the vulnerable elderly man that he was supposed to be protecting and looking after was reimbursed by the taxpayer in order to do exactly that, that man died." "And one day before he died, after months of being neglected by the caretaker who was getting reimbursed by the American people, one day before he died, he submitted his final reimbursement for services he never provided for a man he never cared for." "That's what we're trying to stop, ladies and gentlemen, that's what we have to fight back against. It's a shame that anything like that happens." "But if it does happen, the only way to protect those people and the only way to protect the American taxpayer is to ensure that the fraudsters go to prison and that they stop this ridiculous scam on the American people."

Barbara Walters writes: Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country, but specific men who served and sacrificed during the Vietnam War. The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot. The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat. In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF Survival School was a POW in Ho LoPrison, the "Hanoi Hilton." Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell, cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was ordered to describe for a visiting American "peace activist" the "lenient and humane treatment" he'd received. He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was dragged away. During the subsequent beating, he fell forward onto the camp commandant 's feet, which sent that officer berserk. In 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from double vision (which permanently ended his flying career) from the Commandant's frenzied application of a wooden baton. From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the 47FW/DO (F-4E's). He spent 6 years in the "Hanoi Hilton". . . The first three of which his family only knew he was "missing in action." His wife lived on faith that he was still alive. His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and clothed routine in preparation for a "peace delegation" visit. They, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they were alive and still survived. Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his Social Security Number on it, in the palm of his hand. When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man's hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?" Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper. She took them all without missing a beat. . . At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him all the little pieces of paper... Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Colonel Carrigan was almost number four but he survived, which is the only reason we know of her actions that day. I was a civilian economic development adviser in Vietnam, and was captured by the North Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in 1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years. I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one year in a cage in Cambodia; and one year in a 'black box' in Hanoi. My North Vietnamese captors deliberately poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a nurse in a leprosarium in Banme Thuot, South Vietnam, whom I buried in the jungle near the Cambodian border. At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs. (My normal weight is 170 lbs.) We were Jane Fonda's "war criminals." When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi, I was asked by the camp communist political officer if I would be willing to meet with her. I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real treatment we POWs received. . . and how different it was from the treatment purported by the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as "humane and lenient." Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched with a large steel weight placed on my hands, and beaten with a bamboo cane. I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda soon after I was released. I asked her if she would be willing to debate me on TV. She never did answer me. These first-hand experiences do not exemplify someone who should be honored as part of "100 Years of Great Women." Lest we forget. . . "100 Years of Great Women" should never include a traitor whose hands are covered with the blood of so many patriots. There are few things I have strong visceral reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in blatant treason, is one of them. Please take the time to forward to as many people as you possibly can. It will eventually end up on her computer, and she needs to know that we will never forget. See less

@elonmusk We are not just “consciousness.” We are body and immortal soul. And fallen. Human civilization on the moon or even Mars is simply transporting human fallen-ness.

Mostly true. What matters is securing the long-term future of consciousness, both on Earth and other heavenly bodies. We cannot just focus on Earth, because there are irreducible external (eg massive meteor) and internal (eg global nuclear war) cataclysmic risks. The Moon is faster to make self-growing, but is more susceptible to problems on Earth. Mars will take longer to make self-growing, because it is so hard to reach, but is more secure from Earth disasters for that same reason. Both the Moon and Mars should have self-growing civilizations. Making this happen is the prime directive of SpaceX.

Former SpaceX astronaut Garrett Reisman reveals the single prism Elon Musk runs every major decision through "He measures pretty much every major decision by whether or not it brings the day when we have a self-sustainable colony on Mars sooner or later" "That's the prism by which he makes every single decision he makes" "He's got an idea and he'll keep pushing, and he gives us aggressive timelines that we have to work to" "We work really hard to try to meet them. It's hard when you're doing stuff that's this complicated to predict exactly how long it's going to take" "We end up falling a little bit behind, but we do our best"

Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring. They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died. France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend

Last month, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear signed a law requiring medical providers to halt organ harvesting procedures if there are any signs of life. Why can’t we all have a law like this? The legislation was prompted after the 2021 case of TJ Hoover, a “brain dead” man who opened his eyes and started looking around on his way to the operating room to donate his organs. Whistleblowers testified that after two doctors refused to remove Hoover’s organs, the organ procurement team was instructed to just find another doctor. Thankfully a third doctor couldn’t be found and the procedure was called off. Hoover went on to recover, and even dance at his sister’s wedding. His sister says that he remembers what happened: “He’ll continually say, ‘Why did they want to kill me?’” The new Kentucky law states that a pause shall be made during organ procurement if there is a change in neurological status, an indication of life, or any uncertainty regarding the accuracy or completeness of neurological or death declaration assessments. Every state should have a common sense law like this. Tell your legislators. apps.legislature.ky.gov/recorddocument…

How the hell did we go from Kristi Noem and @GregoryKBovino running DHS and CBP like absolute rock stars to @SecMullinDHS capitulating to the far left on national television? He openly admitted he’s afraid of headlines and is letting activists run illegal checkpoints outside an ICE facility. @POTUS please fire him before it is too late. He's the laughingstock of your admin.

Mr. @POTUS, it’s time to fire @SecMullinDHS. He’s proven to be completely incompetent and is allowing radical activists to take control of ICE. This is an embarrassment of the highest level.

I read the Bible a lot, literaly every day, so it's guaranteed I'll read the entire Bible at least once in a year. Because I do that, It's really easy for me to go through the entire Bible focusing specifically on a certain subject like Catholicism. I've done it several times now, and every time I do catholicism only gets worse. There is no justifying it, none whatsoever. It only becomes more and more clear that Roman Catholicism is satan's counterfeit and the mother of all harlots.
