Productive meeting with @HylandSonja, Deputy Secretary General of @dfatirl🇮🇪 Thanked for the personal participation of the Irish PM at the inaugural Peace Summit. Discussed the deliverables of the event and the joint work on engaging more countries to its final communique✊ Also talked on the possibility of the prompt start of negotiations on 🇺🇦-🇮🇪 bilateral security agreement in pursuance of the #G7 Joint Declaration🤝

Today(6.19), on the occasion of the #UNSC briefing on Sudan, Ambassador Joonkook Hwang delivered a joint statement at a media stakeout on behalf of UNSC signatories of #WPS Shared Commitments on the situation of women and girls in Sudan. (WPS Shared Commitment 🇪🇨🇫🇷🇬🇾🇯🇵🇲🇹🇸🇱🇸🇮🇨🇭🇬🇧🇺🇸🇰🇷) In light of the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict on the 19th of June, the signatories of WPS Shared Commitments called for an immediate cessation of all acts of sexual and gender-based violence, and for accountability. We also expressed our commitment to supporting a survivor-centered approach and demanded the full, equal, meaningful, and safe participation of Sudanese women and women’s organizations in all political processes.









🇨🇿 Embassy hosted a panel discussion on Equality in Defence and Security Environments. The panel consisted of Col. Magdalena Dvořáková🇨🇿 @ArmadaCR, Ambassador Mari Skåre🇳🇴, former Garda Commisioner Nóirín O'Sullivan🇮🇪 and former ombudsman of @defenceforces Paulyn Marrinan🇮🇪.
