Russian double-amputee mountaineer Rustam Nabiev has successfully scaled Mt #Everest (8848.86 m) yesterday, 20.05.2026 NPT.
Rustam, who lost both legs in a military barracks collapse in 2015, has now stood atop the world’s highest mountain, achieving one of the most inspiring moments of the 2026 Everest spring season.

TX AG Ken Paxton has secured a historic settlement with grocery store chains across Texas, stopping them from secretly misting synthetic pesticides on organic produce.
Albertsons Safeway LLC (“Albertsons”), the parent company of more than ten different grocery store chains, has agreed to immediately end its practice of misting organic produce with synthetic pesticides.
This settlement follows a statewide investigation into grocery stores that was announced by AG Paxton in January 2026.
The investigation was launched after concerns arose that pesticides were being applied to USDA-certified organic produce without consumers’ knowledge.
The pesticide at issue is ProduceMaxx, an EPA-registered antimicrobial pesticide containing hypochlorous acid, a chlorine-based compound.

FanDuel has decided to price everyone for Sunday's Cup Series race:
"After two opening 75-lap segments, the field is cut to 26 drivers for the 200-lap finale. Some drivers (past race winners, former champions) are locked in automatically and cannot be eliminated. For all others, segment finishing position determine who advances. Drivers who do not advance to the final segment will score no further points for your lineup."

This is about Kentucky, but the reverse seems to be true for IU. Getting Ryan Carr in place in February, with runway to get in contact with agents and vet interest/fit seems to have given the Hoosiers a leg up.
