Whatever happens to Tottenham this season, I cannot wait to see the back of Kolo Muani, Richarlison and Tel. All 3 of them are so far off it. Not an ounce of quality or creativity between them

Thames Water makes a profit from the water it supplies us. Taxi companies and TFL make profits from the transport services they provide. Energy companies make profits from the gas and electricity they supply. Councils make eye watering amounts from the council tax you’re required to pay on your property even if it’s sitting empty. Yet landlords, who put down thousands of pounds of their own money to mortgage homes that tenants rent for only a fraction of the property’s value, are somehow the ones everyone wants to blame.

Meet the new deputy mayor of Hackney UK. He wants to ban landlords earning profit.

I must say I am *shocked* at how many of the highly ‘virtuous and kind’ left wing media and establishment politicians have revealed they view living near asylum seekers is a “punishment”. Whoever would have thought!

To save his own skin, Keir Starmer threatened his MPs with the loss of their jobs unless they helped cover up his misleading statements to Parliament. It is a disgrace that 333 Labour MPs chose to be complicit in that cover up. It is very notable that the Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister would not repeat his boss’s exact claim that there “was no pressure whatsoever” from No10 on the appointment of Peter Mandelson, instead trying to 'clarify' what he had meant. This is a government coming apart at the seams. They are more interested in their own survival than the cost of living crisis affecting hardworking families. Labour MPs will rue the day that they voted against this motion, because it is the day that people saw they believe there’s one rule for Labour and another for everyone else.

🚨 CHINA IS COLLAPSING China’s real estate just hit its lowest level since 2005. The index peaked at 114 in 2021 and sits at 86 today. That is a 25% collapse in four years. Real estate was 25% of China’s entire GDP and 70% of household wealth was tied to property. That wealth is being permanently destroyed. Local governments funded themselves through land sales for decades. That revenue is gone and local government debt now stands at $18.9 trillion. Two thirds of new borrowing is being used just to service old debt. 80 million homes are sitting empty with no buyer in sight. Evergrande collapsed under $300 billion in liabilities and got liquidated. China Vanke is fighting to avoid the same outcome. Beijing has officially declared the old model dead: high debt, high leverage, high turnover, buried without a replacement ready. This is not a housing correction. This is the largest ongoing wealth destruction event in the world right now and Western markets are not pricing any of it in. The second order effects haven’t even started. I’ll make another post later and trust me, you don’t want to miss it. Turn on notifications, this is important. A lot of people will regret not following me.

The UK has created a generation of 30-year-olds who can’t: • buy a home • afford kids • take time off • retire comfortably And we act like this is normal.

Why are socialists so offended by the idea that a business owner who has taken massive personal and financial risks to start a business, should be massively rewarded with wealth, should their business succeed?

@ZackPolanski - this is magnificent. Three things I can’t deny: 1. It is a video. 2. You are wearing a jacket. 3. Then you aren’t. 4. Then you are again. Unfortunately that’s where the accuracy ends. A few corrections for you: Peter Thiel is not our CEO. Alex Karp is — and has been for 20+ years. (A lifelong Democrat, for anyone keeping score.) We are not a “spyware company.” Spyware is malware. Malware is illegal. Calling a software company spyware is, technically, defamatory (don’t worry, we are not suing). We don’t build surveillance technology. We build software that helps organisations make sense of data they already hold. Not the same thing. There was no “private tour” of our HQ. There was a public photocall to which the media came. Hence, why there are so many pictures of the event. Our MOD contract is not “the biggest defence contract in UK history.” Ajax armoured vehicles = £5.5bn. Dreadnought submarines = £31bn. We’re grateful for the work, but let’s keep a sense of scale. We have no more access to NHS data than Microsoft has to the contents of your Word documents. I think you know this by now. We don’t have access to patient medical records. Same story. I agree that “nothing matters more than our health.” Which makes it worth reminding you of what Palantir’s software is actually doing in the NHS right now: ->110,000 additional operations ->15% fewer delayed hospital discharges ->7% more patients finding out within 28 days whether they have cancer Respect again for what you did with that jacket.

If the max you can earn in the UK as a CEO is around £200k annually because of the Green Party policy - there will be minimal tax collected, so how will the Greens fund their expensive policies??? Whoever is voting Greens needs their head testing. There will be no money for anything!

Arsenal fans were fuming with Bournemouth’s analyst staff, after their goal today, because they celebrated in the press box. They were told to stay in their seats after the game until everyone had left for their own safety… 😬🫣
