Grade 3 Ss have been learning about building, structures and bridges. Ss worked in small groups to build a bridge and test it for stability and strength. What kind of a bridge is it? Who much weight could it hold? @DHSPaterson@DHarkness_CBE
Students went to The Flight Hangar museum to learn about flight. They saw planes, built planes, tested and heard stories of pilots who fought and still fly to help keep peace. @DHarkness_CBE #WeAreCBE

For “World Read Aloud Day” students tuned in to hear David A Robertson read his book “On the Trapline” and answer questions. As always, the presentation was great and @DaveAlexRoberts was engaging and informative! @DHSPaterson@DHarkness_CBE
Which pillar will hold the most mass? Why did the cylindrical pillar hold more mass than the triangular and rectangular pillars? Students worked with partners to build and test pillars to see which one was the strongest. @DHSPaterson@DHarkness_CBE#WeAreCBE
