Their boxes actually make sense, you can sell the stuff in them, they are virtual Pokemon card packs. Players also get them for free and get value from just selling them instead of opening and can use those funds to buy skins. Tradable skins from boxes (you don’t have to open them) is FARRRR better than $25 skin bundles in the shop, again, skins are virtual pokemon cards, not untradable trash like every other game that implemented loot boxes.
