@zcichy @prJnce64 For me they had a very narrow window of being fun back in the 360 days. Until I figured they were making me stick with games I dont enjoy as much, just to collect them. I realized that their purpose (just like award shows and tech/media) were for telling me how to game. No thanks

Maybe I’m alone, but I think achievements and the entire culture around them is incredibly off-putting. But I’m an experience guy.
I don’t like achievements for the same reason I don’t take photos IRL every 10 seconds.
Live in the moment. Not for trophies to look back on.

One thing I do enjoy about other systems is the achievements. It gives me a sense of completion. Nintendo is selling just fine without them and has always avoided them. Would you like to eventually see them cave in and add them?
