@SeemaMalhotra1 @UKLabour Brilliant. Highest taxes since the 1940s, youth unemployment at 16%, businesses closing. Actually help workers: slash taxes, cut red tape, let capitalism create proper jobs not this smug suicide

Rooftop solar funded by Great British Energy is cutting energy bills for schools and hospitals right across the country. Putting more money back into the frontline services that communities rely on. 🌹That’s the difference this Labour government is making.

At PMQs the Tory leader said that 1.5million extra people are on universal credit - but that's because they are moving off legacy systems as she knows very well! In fact, more people are now in work than when the Tories were in office, so was she misleading the House?

Exactly we’re now living with third-world infrastructure and public services, yet we’re still paying full first-world prices for everything. Potholed roads that wreck cars, NHS waiting lists still measured in months, cities where basic order feels optional, and a cost-of-living crisis that’s crushing families… all while net migration hits record levels and taxes keep climbing. The mismatch is glaring and unsustainable. What’s the single biggest decline you’ve noticed in your area lately?

Imposing a three-line whip to shut down a Privileges Committee inquiry into whether Starmer misled Parliament over Peter Mandelson’s appointment isn’t the sign of a confident government ‘doing great work’. It looks exactly like a scramble to dodge scrutiny. The backlash isn’t just from the ‘far left or far right’ it’s coming from pensioners hit by winter fuel cuts, workers facing higher taxes, farmers worried about inheritance tax raids, and veterans still waiting for fair treatment. That’s mainstream frustration, not fringe rage. Is this strong leadership… or damage limitation?

Ed, let’s be straight: Great British Energy is a government-owned company funded by taxpayers and billpayers, not some magic independent pot of cash. According to the Renewable Energy Foundation, UK renewable subsidies have already cost us around £220 billion since 2002, nearly £8,000 per household. Rooftop solar on schools and hospitals can deliver some savings, but the bigger picture is the huge cumulative bill we’ve all paid for intermittent power. Is this really the best use of public money when energy costs are still crippling families and businesses?

Rachel Reeves claims Labour is “on the side of working families,” yet she’s pressing ahead with the fuel duty hike starting September unwinding that 5p cut right as petrol and diesel prices are already rising from Middle East tensions. Nothing says “we’ve got your back” like making the daily commute, school run, or small business deliveries even more expensive. The only thing they haven’t taxed yet is the air we breathe!!

🚨Reeves to proceed with fuel duty hike Millions of motorists will face new cost hikes from September. Despite fuel shortages and rising prices, Labour wants to go ahead with the fuel duty increase! You couldn't make this up! This is a government actively trying to destroy the pockets of the ordinary Brit! It seems Labour doesn't want to be in power after 2029.

AOC just blamed Deloitte accountants for setting rivers on fire by ‘pouring chemicals’ into them… and apparently this all went down during World War 11. 😂 Reality check: Cleveland’s Cuyahoga River really did catch fire at least a dozen times from toxic industrial sludge and oil (the 1969 blaze went viral and directly helped create the EPA + Clean Water Act). But Deloitte is a consulting/tax firm not a chemical giant. She almost certainly meant DuPont, which has faced massive lawsuits over forever chemicals and river pollution.

AOC says "rivers were on fire" because of corporations like Deloitte "pouring chemicals" into waterways. Deloitte is an accounting, consulting, and tax services firm. No idea what she's talking about.

Ursula von der Leyen just declared at the Munich Security Conference that the EU must abandon unanimity in foreign policy and security decisions, pushing qualified majority voting instead, claiming they can do it without any treaty change by ‘getting creative’ with the existing rules. This isn’t a small tweak. It would strip sovereign nations of their veto power and hand even more control to unelected Brussels bureaucrats, turning the EU from a union of independent countries into a centralized superstate. The founding principle of consensus is dead. Will member states finally resist this power grab, or will they quietly comply and watch national sovereignty disappear? What do YOU think

WARMTH OF COLLECTIVISM UPDATE: Mayor Zohran Mamdani declares a "budget crisis," asks for a bailout from the state government, and pushes back his deadline for completing the city budget at least 10 days: "We cannot close this deficit with savings alone. We need new revenue, and we need a structural reset in our relationship with the state. That is the only way to meet our legal obligation to pass a balanced budget."

Private landlords are taking real risks interest-only mortgages, rising service charges, maintenance, and falling property values to keep homes available. Hit them with a rent freeze and many will sell up or switch to Airbnbs, handing the rental market straight to corporate giants like BlackRock. James O’Brien pulls in a high six-figure salary every year while painting these landlords as the villains. Meanwhile tenants lose out when supply shrinks and choice disappears. Economics 101: price controls create shortages. Who actually benefits long-term?

Keir Starmer is still in No. 10 after fast-tracking Peter Mandelson into the UK’s most senior diplomatic job in Washington, despite clear vetting warnings over his Epstein ties and controversial history. When deeper links surfaced in the files, Mandelson was sacked and Starmer himself admitted it was a serious misjudgment he wouldn’t have made with full information. This isn’t ‘Westminster tittle-tattle’ it’s about basic standards of judgment, national security, and accountability at the very top. If this is how high-stakes appointments are handled, what else is slipping through? What’s your take time for proper scrutiny or just move on?

The bandwidth sucked up by the Mandelson non-story is embarrassing. A minor appointment taken in what was perceived to be the national interest. Astonishing that the Westminster bubble is still obsessed but then tittle tattle started to define British politics a long time ago

If we’re demanding a free vote on Starmer to prove he has ‘nothing to hide’, let’s apply the same standard across the board. @TiceRichard why turn off replies on so many of your posts? @Nigel_Farage how exactly did your partner fund the cash purchase of that £885k Clacton home? Robert Jenrick time to fully clear up the recent donation scrutiny? Transparency shouldn’t be selective. Real accountability means everyone faces the same heat. What’s your take hypocrisy on all sides or just one? Drop a reply, like if you agree, and RT to spread the word! LEARNING DAY has officially arrived in Minnesota. After @nickshirleyy’s videos exposed empty ‘Learing Centers’ raking in federal dollars for years, today’s joint raids finally happened. Walz’s agencies suddenly ‘detected irregularities’ only after the feds stepped in and he dropped his reelection bid. Great that fraud is being hit hard, now recover every dollar for taxpayers and hold everyone accountable, no cherry-picking. #OneMinnesotaAccountability

If you commit fraud in Minnesota you’re going to get caught — and that’s exactly what we saw today. We catch criminals when state and federal agencies share information. Joint investigations work, and securing justice depends on it.

Net Zero isn’t saving the planet, it’s the ultimate wealth transfer scam. A handful of green energy tycoons and their political mates pocket billions in subsidies while British taxpayers get hit with a £4.5 trillion bill, more than our entire GDP. Higher energy prices, factories closing, and unreliable power. Time to bin this expensive fantasy and choose cheap, reliable energy instead.

Respect to Emma Lewell for defying the whip and backing the motion to refer Keir Starmer to the Privileges Committee over the Peter Mandelson US Ambassador vetting row. An MP actually choosing scrutiny and accountability over blind loyalty is rare these days. If this government is as transparent as it claims, it should welcome the process instead of fighting it. More backbenchers need to grow a spine like this 👏 What do you think, will anyone else follow her lead?
