The pups DNA tests are in! Momo is 100% Siberian Husky. I don't really care about mixed or not of course, but I was giving her short legs a little side eye and wondering if there was a little corgi in there😅 Turns out it's a mutation of the FGF4 gene: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P…

@RealSexyCyborg @PomoThug Wow, you connected the dots for me on why this beautiful friend is “super smart, but not very obedient”— I always thought she was just a stubborn lady, like me. Now, it all makes sense! Can’t have a sled dog who heeds their foolish human instead of their survival instincts.

@PomoThug I spoke to a Chukchi woman once and a lot of what she said about their dogs rung very true- Momo is amazing with kids because any dog that wasn't was culled, she's super smart but not very obedient- an obedient dog will get you killed on the ice.

@RoadVisionary @defcon Yes, it’s a real ghost town here, now that everyone has been driven off by the edgy wokeness. The fact that every line, hallway, talk, workshop, event, and village is overflowing with with attendees is a great indicator that nobody likes going anymore.
