🚨 Do you understand what Netanyahu just did four hours after the ceasefire was announced.. the entire world celebrated peace.. Pakistan's PM Sharif told the press the ceasefire covers "everywhere including Lebanon".. Netanyahu waited four hours.. then released a statement in English only saying "the two-week ceasefire does not include Lebanon".. not in Hebrew.. not for Israelis.. in English.. aimed directly at Washington and the international press.. > his defense minister already claimed 10% of Lebanon permanently > his finance minister said Israel's border should be the Litani River > he already ordered the security zone in southern Lebanon expanded they're not pausing a war.. they're rebranding an occupation while the cameras point somewhere else.. the Iran war gets a ceasefire.. Lebanon gets erased from it.. everyone who follows me has the same story.. "i wish i found this account sooner."

Head of Iranian Jewish Community on Rubbles of Israeli-Hit Synagogue: “Shameful” “All the Israeli regime’s claims about defending Jews are nothing more than a shameful lie,” said Rabbi Younes Hamami Lalehzar, calling Israel's attack on a synagogue in a residential area an “inhumane and terrorist” act.

Why did Trump capitulate? The answer lies in a disastrous covert mission that was his last desperate gamble. Reports indicate the White House was 'seriously considering a ground operation to seize Iran's enriched uranium stockpile'. This mission was an attempt to create an 'off-ramp'—to physically remove the nuclear pretext for the war and declare a victory. It failed spectacularly. Iran shot down U.S. fighter jets, including an F-35, and the operation left destroyed aircraft and dead soldiers. This failure stripped away Trump's last credible military option. Domestic pressure then forced his hand. Over 100 U.S.-based legal experts declared the strikes on Iran 'possible war crimes'. Calls for impeachment grew louder. With no viable path to victory on the ground and political collapse at home, Trump had no choice but to seek a deal from a position of profound weakness. His extension of the deadline to April 6 was not a sign of progress, but a recognition of impending disaster. The myth of American military invincibility in the Persian Gulf has crumbled.

From a legal point of view, THERE IS NO CEASEFIRE AGREEMENT. These are unilateral, very short, and very vague NON-BINDING bilateral declarations of intent. A ceasefire agreement in international law requires a written instrument, mutual acceptance of identical terms, a defined scope covering all parties and theaters, verification mechanisms, and consequences for violation. None of those exist here. What exists is Trump posting on Truth Social that he is suspending bombing. And Iran's foreign minister posting on X that Iranian armed forces will facilitate passage. Two social media posts, published separately, using different language, describing different things, with no shared document, no signatures, no defined scope — Netanyahu immediately proved the point by carving out Lebanon unilaterally thirty minutes later. There is no text both sides have agreed to. There is no arbitration mechanism. There is no definition of what constitutes a violation. There is no enforcement body. Pakistan brokered it verbally through phone calls and is not a guarantor. The UN Security Council couldn't even pass a resolution on Hormuz this week — Russia and China vetoed it. Iran can close the Strait tomorrow and claim the US violated the conditions first by not rebutting the 10-point plan. The US can resume bombing tomorrow and claim Iran violated the conditions by not fully opening the Strait. Both would be legally unchallenged because there is no agreed standard to challenge against.

First of all the 'Art of the Deal' book was not written by Trump but by journalist Tony Schwartz who said of Trump: 'He is incapable of reading a book, much less writing one.’ Trump 'the great negotiator' is a carefully contrived myth fostered through a reality show, The Apprentice, while Trump all along has been a disastrous businessman who has made his money through corruption and support from the Cult network that he slavishly serves. The Rothschilds bailed him out when he admitted facing personal debt, not only corporate debt, of some billion dollars. The Iran 'deal' was not therefore the work of Trump who is infamously stupid to anyone honest who has seen him at work at close range. There is also a long way to go yet before anything permanent is guaranteed. It should further be noted that I have said for decades that the Global Cult behind world events and the direction of human society HAS NO BORDERS and has its network operating covertly in every country with the people of those countries mere pawns in their game. That would include Iran. If the 'deal' goes ahead on anything like the terms Iran claims then - as long planned - the global power centre continues to move eastwards in a sequence begun long ago when the West transferred its production of even necessities to China and the east. Trump is a Cult gofer, always was, always will be. He knows nothing else.

A War That Has Already Cost Over $280 Billion and Achieved None of Its Objectives Seven weeks ago, based on the figures from the 12-day war, I estimated that a new large-scale conflict against Iran would cost in the order of $360 billion just in the first three months. Today, after 40 days of fighting and with a possible ceasefire agreement on the horizon, the numbers suggest that my estimate could be surpassed well before the 90-day mark. Each day of coalition air operations costs around $1 billion. That alone adds up to approximately $40 billion in operational costs so far. According to the Payne Institute for Public Policy, the war with Iran is facing a serious crisis due to unsustainable ammunition consumption rates and exorbitant replenishment costs, which have already exceeded $50 billion. When we look at material losses, the situation becomes even worse. Reports show that several of the 13 American bases struck have become practically uninhabitable. Housing blocks were destroyed, communication facilities, power plants, and water systems were pulverized. Just the high-complexity radars confirmed as damaged or destroyed by satellite imagery and intelligence reports up to early April already exceed $4 billion. On top of that, damage to intelligence and command aircraft, such as the two E-3 Sentry and the E-7 Wedgetail, pushes the bill to around $2 billion. When we add losses of KC-135 tankers, C-130, F-15s, F-16s, A-10s, helicopters and drones, the total easily climbs by another $2 billion. On the Israeli side, although the government tries to downplay the figures, it is estimated that at least two F-35I Adir units suffered severe damage or total loss in attacks on Nevatim base. When combined with the F-16I Sufa and F-15I Ra’am hit during interception missions, the damage to Israeli aircraft approaches $1 billion. However, nothing compares to the material and economic destruction inflicted on the region, especially in energy infrastructure and aluminum smelters. Destruction of Energy Infrastructure Iranian attacks (and the retaliations) turned this war into a direct assault on the Gulf’s energy backbone. Dozens of refineries, oil fields, gas plants, export terminals, and LNG facilities were hit by missiles and drones. Read the full article: open.substack.com/pub/global21/p…

The Hormuz Letter
The Hormuz Letter@HormuzLetter·
NEW: Under the two-week ceasefire framework, all vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz will be subject to a $2 million fee under a "controlled transit" system coordinated with the Iranian armed forces, per Reuters. Iran's Parliament approved a draft bill on Tuesday to formalize the toll. Iran's revenue will go toward rebuilding the country following US and Israeli strikes, per AP. At pre-war Hormuz traffic of roughly 20,000 ships per year, a $2 million fee would generate approximately $40 billion annually for Iran.

I still believe that the roots of the current ceasefire lie in the failure of a far more ambitious operation. The real mission was never really about rescuing a pilot. It was about uranium. Under the cover of a rescue operation in Dehdasht in southwestern Iran, the U.S. appears to have attempted a deep heliborne insertion into south of Isfahan, 373 kilometers away (over 3 days and 16 hours of walking, as shown in the google map map!) Senior generals had reportedly warned this was infeasible. They were ignored and in some cases removed. The operation went ahead. And it failed. What followed was a rapid narrative shift: a failed mission reframed as a successful rescue. This is where the ceasefire comes in. Unable to achieve its objective on the ground, Washington pivoted to negotiations, while escalating rhetoric. Trump’s threats like “bringing Iran back to Stone Age” or “Iranian civilization will die tonight” were not just coercion; they also reflected frustration and an attempt to recover leverage after failure. The ceasefire, in this sense, is the political consequence of a failed operation centered on uranium in south of Isfahan.
Arash Reisinezhad tweet media
Arash Reisinezhad@arashreisi

Emerging evidence suggests that U.S. operations south of Isfahan (marked in red on the map) were unrelated to any pilot rescue mission. The downed American pilot was reportedly located in southwest Iran, near Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province (marked in blue on the map), not central Iran. Instead, this appears to have been a failed heliborne insertion aimed at locating uranium within Iran. The recent dismissal of seasoned U.S. generals may not be coincidental; it may reflect internal resistance to such high-risk operations. Given Iran’s increasingly effective air defense, and the apparent failure of this mission, the viability of future heliborne incursions deep into Iranian territory is now in serious doubt and may ultimately be abandoned.

@TheSalonDon Losses are part of the game. I was advised not to trade oil as it can be -- and is being -- highly manipulated. As a former trader, Bessent knows how to move markets and insiders are cashing in. The ceasefire is only temporary. Oil is still going up.

I was wrong Lost money and credibility And I’m very sorry for all of my followers that trusted me I’ll never understand how Trump agreed to the $2m toll, removing sanctions, and enriching uranium My whole bet was that he would never agree to that But that doesn’t matter What matters is things can happen that don’t make sense Never bet more than you can afford to lose PS. I still think the strait stays closed and I’m right but at this point I can no longer trust my own thoughts on this subject
