Visited a fried potato business in Mandalay, supported by 🇩🇰. What started as a small family business has now achieved nationwide reach📈 — a great example showing how similar SMEs with strong entrepreneurship can benefit greatly from improved access to finance. 💪💵🌟

Visited a dry port facility owned by a Myanmar company yesterday. Useful to understand how these inland terminals help speed up cargo flows for imports and exports, and their strategic value. Grateful to the hosts for the informative tour and warm welcome.

A pleasure visiting the Myanmar Soe San Win Manufacturing. The factory produces quality footwear and reaches markets across Europe & Asia. Appreciated the open discussion and the opportunity to gain insight in the shoe industry, which remains one of🇲🇲Myanmar’s areas of potential.

Myanmar: junta airstrikes in Sagaing killed over 40 people, incl. civilians and children, who gathered for the Buddhist Festival of Light. This is another attack by the Myanmar military against those it claims to protect. Civilians must never be a target. The killing must end.

Spent an evening in Shan with local and national farmers’ associations. The power of collective efforts is undeniable, and support for farmers vital. Met the potato association the next day and heard growers’ stories—truly inspiring. The challenges are real, but so is the hope.

Visited Shan State, met a rice miller and an avocado farmer having received 🇩🇰🇨🇭🇪🇺support via #RBF+. Gained insights on price fluctuation and potential avocado exports and constraints. Despite hurdles, these farmers drive change, create jobs, boosting livelihoods & markets.
