The Sunday back-left hole location on the 17th at TPC Scottsdale is the best hole location on any drivable par-4 in pro golf. It is such a tiny peninsula in that back area and it makes you hit a golf shot. Pull it off, you'll make birdie. Don't, and you're battling to avoid 6.

When another great restaurant operator/concept moves into the neighborhood, it’s not a threat, it’s a welcome development. It’s like the saying, “a rising tide lifts all boats”. At Shaw’s Tavern, Ebee’s has been that for us and more. A+ staff and service, great food, and the neighborhood is bustling with good energy and eager diners — a win for this little Shaw community that we love so much. We are thrilled for Ebee’s success and it’s well deserved!

I try to be a rational Bills fan. Always. There’s a bunch we could have done earlier to win this game. I don’t intend to be whiny. But I will go to my grave thinking this was a catch. And you’ll never convince me otherwise. Proud of this team. Proud to be a fan. Next year.

A marine expert tells me there were 3 beached whales in Delaware last year, but all were in March. That’s congruent with migrations. January beaching isn’t necessarily unusual, but Delaware officials are hoping to learn more about how this whale died.
