Boomers calling modern button layouts unintuitive when they actually mean “it’s too different than how I learned to play FGs 30 years ago, so it must be bad” I won’t claim either era is better or worse but we can all agree that someone completely new to fighting games would much more easily pick up a simple 2xko bnb than any street fighter game (aside from sf6 modern) Motion inputs absolutely cook the human mind when it doesn’t have years of experience with them already PS - I like James Chen a lot and this doesn’t skew my view of him at all. Just a lil blind spot for him :)
