This exchange just happened in Congress.
Senator Cohen to FBI Director Kash Patel:
“The people you fired were experts on Iran, were they not?”
Patel: “I don’t believe so.”
Cohen: “They worked in counterintelligence, did they not?”
Patel: “I’m taking you at your word.”
Cohen: “You’re the director. I’m not. You should know the answer.”
The Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation does not know who he fired.
Does not know if they were Iran experts.
Does not know if they worked in counterintelligence.
Is taking a senator’s word for it.
This is the man running America’s domestic intelligence agency during the most severe national security crisis since 9/11.
Iran has activated sleeper cells.
Encrypted communications intercepted as operational triggers.
A war with no exit strategy.
Joe Kent resigned because the investigation was stopped.
Charlie Kirk’s last words to Kent: stop us from getting into a war with Iran.
And the FBI Director doesn’t know who he fired.
Or what they knew.
Or what America lost when they left.
Never stop connecting the dots.

@DLSwan4 Yup. A blowout is unlikely but man would it do wonders for this team

NEB has played three teams VERY similar to Troy in OFF REB %
Troy 33% (53rd)
FIU 32.2% (69) Neb won 96-66
Winthrop 32.2% (70) Neb Won 80-73
Oklahoma 32.1% (71) Neb won 105-99
Here is what is going to happen... Nebraska and Troy will be a 6 point game at halftime, and then Nebraska will win by 17.

After the Iraq Invasion, George W. Bush stopped playing golf
He said he didn’t want “some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander-in-chief playing golf”

"You can't make so many parallels with history and think that it's just going to happen that way. We have to focus. Get back to the stuff that's made us successful this season. That's what it's all about."

Same for the C-17.
Some idiot ran the math on how much gas could be saved by removing the parachutes. Parachutes were reduced from 5 to 2. Not enough for the entire crew.
Adam Kinzinger (Slava Ukraini) 🇺🇸🇺🇦@AdamKinzinger
About 15 years ago, someone got promoted suggesting that the parachutes on the KC135 wasted space. They were removed. Dumb stupid idea then. Could they have saved this crew? Who knows. But would be nice to have the option.

In 2009, George W. Bush invited President-elect Obama and all former living presidents for lunch...
This was two weeks before the country’s transfer of power from Bush to Obama.
Bush, a Republican, and Obama, a Democrat, met privately for about 30 minutes ahead of the wider gathering.
Then former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, both Democrats, and Republican George H.W. Bush, the current president’s father, met Bush and Obama in the Oval Office for a photo session with journalists.
It was the first such gathering of former U.S. heads of state at the White House in 27 years.
“I want to thank the president-elect for joining the ex-presidents for lunch,” the younger Bush told Obama, who stood next to him, nodding.
“One message that I have and I think we all share is that we want you to succeed. Whether we’re Democrat or Republican, we care deeply about this country,” Bush said.
