HAPPY STORY - there's an athlete on our team whose first xc season was last year. First race? DNF. Honestly didn't know if she was going to stay out for the team. She kept showing up. Second race? 41 minutes. Worked her butt off this summer. Her first 5k this season? 31 minutes!!
