@ZachVander @5150Farms Well said. Investing in an asset in which you have a lot of experience and can Control several variables both immediately and in the long term has a lot of value. Investing in real estate is low risk to me, but not for everyone.

@5150Farms This is accurate and a great reason to diversify. I also believe that inevitably the stock market will implode from massive recessionary consequences. No idea what that does to land investments, but I will still be able to see and touch it.

Does buying land make sense ? 1 acre example $10,000 an acre and pay cash Takes 30 yrs for the land to generate enough $$$ to pay for itself Or invest that 10,000 in the stock market for 30 yrs and that 10,000 is now $100,000 And in 30 yrs that one acre is now worth $20,000 an acre ??? Now let’s do it when you put $5343 down payment borrow $4657 so you have $300 an acre payments to bank for 30 yrs Pay $4343 in interest For a total of $14,343 invested into that 1 acre Value of land in 30 yrs $20,000 per acre ?? Now invest that down payment of $5343 for 30 yrs You will have $53,764

What matters in training for marathoners New analysis of 100k+ runners Faster runners: -Accumulated 3x the volume of slower runners -Had proportionally more easy running than higher intensities. As my HS coach told me years ago, step 1 is figuring out how to run more.
