Very good news! Dr. Mariano Barbacid and team successfully develops a promising new triple-combination therapy that completely and permanently eliminates pancreatic tumors. With such a successful preclinical study, we hope for the best in the coming clinical|human trials.

There's no lab test for "ulcers" my friend, the gold standard is an endoscopy. Apart from that, "ulcers" is a clinical diagnosis because we cannot do a lab test for it. After the clinical diagnosis, you need to confirm if it's H.Pylori induced or not, and that's where Urea Breath Test, H.Pylori stool come in. They're done not to diagnose "ulcers" but to answer a question, are these ulcers I have diagnosed clinically due to H.Pylori or have other causes? In which case, the treatment will differ. "Ulcers" isn't the same as H.Pylori and thus testing H.Pylori to test "ulcers" is wrong, H.Pylori is just one of the very many causes of "ulcers". So a negative H.Pylor test doesn't rule out "ulcers", because it can be due to drug induced, autoimmune etc... Since the disease is heterogeneous, an endoscopy will help you see and rule out so many causes, also being a physical disease, eyes need to see... It is why the endoscopy is the gold standard. Note, I used "ulcers" to mean what the public understands when we say "ulcers"...

Urea breath test? H.pylori STOOL antigen test? I don't think this is absolutely correct.

APPEAL Those who have my phone number, kindly do not give it out to every person looking for help with school fees. Much as I understand the desperation and wish I could help, I am only an individual human, I cannot handle the entire country’s needs for help. Over 10 to 15 people call me in a day asking for help with fees, sickness, jobs, food and so on … So, when I cannot help, please understand. Today a lady called literally crying about her daughter left with two years of Medicine at KIU, but now totally stranded. I explained that I could not help, but she insisted pleading in tears: ‘May God touch your heart not to leave me like this sir …’. I could feel the pain in her voice, and I was pained too. But I wish I was more than me.
