Advice I'd give younger self when facing creative blocks: Just focus on volume. Just focus on volume. Just focus on volume. Just focus on volume. It's still volume stupid. Just focus on volume. Just focus on volume. Just focus on volume.

@Fearless__Truth Schrödinger's claim: it exists when they say it, and vanishes the moment it's repeated back to them. 😂🤣

Youtube long form is the most goated platform for pushing affiliate products on I made 11k in a month from 3 videos on an account I started 4 weeks ago just by affiliating for Whop products the reason its so goated is: >Search Traffic is super high intent making the conversion crazy >YouTube pushes videos for months even years so you can make money for so long from one video especially pairing that with an MRR offer >Once you have a big following on Youtube not only can you make money with affiliate but YT rev and brand deals go crazy I made a small basic YT whop affiliate guide on how i started if you want it RT this + Comment "YT" and i will send the guide over to you

Pavel Durov: "I haven't had depression in 20 years, here's why": "I normally never have depression. I don't remember having depression in the last 20 years, at least maybe when I was a teenager." Pavel's approach to difficult emotions is completely counterintuitive. As he puts it: "I'm a human being like everybody else. I do get to experience emotions and some of them are not very pleasant. But I believe that it's the responsibility of every one of us to cope with these emotions and to learn to work through them." On what creates depression: "Self-discipline is particularly important because without it, how can you overcome this seemingly endless loop of negativity or despair that ultimately leads to depression for some people?" His method: "One of the reasons I don't have depression is I start doing things. I identify the problem, I can see a solution, and I start executing the strategy. If you are stuck in this loop of being worried about something, nothing's ever going to change." The mistake people make: "People often make this mistake thinking 'Oh, I should just have some rest and then regain energy.' This is not how it works. You gain energy by doing something. So you start doing something, then it happens. You feel motivated, you feel inspired, and then ultimately you do something else a little bit more." He continues: "The whole point is to do first and then feel, not feel and then do. Going to the gym is a good example. There are many days when you don't want to start working out. But you have to overcome this initial reluctance and then you get to a point that you enjoy it and you think 'Oh my god, it was such a good idea to come to gym today.'" Action creates energy, not the other way around.

my best work is done when i open my laptop with a specific task in mind, do 2-4 hours of work & then close my laptop for the rest of the day... my least productive days are the ones where i'm on my laptop for 12 hours clicking between tabs & doing random low ROI tasks
DAN KOE@thedankoe

It seems like everyone is obsessed with productivity and efficiency yet rarely get anything meaningful done. I'm convinced your best work is done when you're not working. When you have space for creative ideas to emerge that drastically change the trajectory of your life/work.

@noironx Best of both worlds, you value practicality as well as connecting abstract concepts. I'm a INFJ-T so I get stuck in the Ni-Ti loop sometimes...

The Learning Method of a 17x Bounty Winner (consecutively) Most people skip the small details. Like… the tiny mechanics of how a skill actually works. Take storytelling for example. A lot of people learn it by just watching movies. They absorb the general vibe, plot, emotions, scenes but its all BROAD. Nothing is broken down. I do it differently. Instead of starting with the whole thing, I break the skill into its skeleton first, then I study each part DEEPLY. For storytelling, I did not start with films. I started with the ''STRUCTURE'' UNDERNEATH it. Like: - camera shots - framing - pacing - composition But I dont just ''learn camera shots'' and move on. What I do now is to go DEEPER: asking and learning: - WHY this shot instead of another? - WHAT emotion does it create? - HOW is it executed technically? - WHAT changes if you move the camera slightly? I study each piece until I understand how it actually works not just what it looks like. Then when I go back and watch movies, Im not just watching anymore. Now Im seeing the system behind it. Thats the difference. Most people learn from the OUTSIDE IN. I learn from the INSIDE OUT.

I stopped guessing why my AI video generations weren't achieving my desired output. Now I use Gemini as an Assistant Director. 🎬✨ Instead of blindly tweaking text and hoping for a better render, I feed the broken video clips directly into Gemini for visual analysis. The workflow: 👁️ Analyze: Upload the busted clip. Gemini watches it and spots exactly what went wrong (dropped continuity, jarring jump-cuts, floating characters). 🛠️ Diagnose: It breaks down why the generator misunderstood the spatial layout or pacing. ✍️ Rewrite: It reconstructs the prompt using advanced directing techniques—like forcing "micro-cuts" to guarantee dynamic action, or scripting "seamless threshold transitions" to fix clunky scene changes. Prompt in comments below👇
