The Office of Natural Resources Revenue (ONRR) collects, verifies, and disburses the revenue generated from offshore energy production.

The Department of the Interior announced today a record $460.9 million disbursement in offshore energy revenues to Gulf states and coastal communities in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas, reflecting increased funding under President Donald J. Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, which raised the statutory cap on state revenue sharing. The funding supports coastal infrastructure, restoration and local economies tied to offshore energy production, advancing Administration priorities to strengthen American energy dominance, expand domestic production and ensure energy-producing communities directly benefit.
