@DOMA_Misconduct
Documenting ecclesiastical misconduct in the ACNA. RT ≠ endorsement.

In fact, documentation from Incarnation contradicts Walton's narrative: Their reported ASA of 108 last year has plummeted by over 60%, to 30-40 congregants. At least 40 (!) of their 88 members have removed themselves (by the new vestry's own admission). 6/ x.com/DOMA_Misconduc…

IMAGINE being accused of "abuse" because you hold a traditional view of Holy Orders. @The_ACNA is promoting a book that frames theological complementarianism as a form of sexist 𝐀𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐄. The bishops participating in this event are authors of disunity in the Church.

Sad News: Google reports that Incarnation Williamsburg has been "permanently closed". Last year, the parish experienced a tumultuous "season of pruning" when Bp Warner required their next rector to receive Holy Communion from a female priest. Please pray for the congregants.

Warner later wrote to the entire congregation to accuse their vestry of disloyalty & forbid them from assembling after he heard of discussions about leaving DOMA. "No conversation about changing dioceses can begin or occur apart from my consent per the Canons of the ACNA." 3/

Wow! "I’m also in an optimistic mood for the ACNA right now. In the aftermath of the “Safe Church” cancellation, Bishop Julian Dobbs hosted an open Zoom meeting for people to ask questions. Someone asked how he was going to ensure that we don’t continue to have our fundamental values undermined in the ACNA. Bishop Julian’s answer was phenomenal. He said that A) the ACNA’s doctrinal center of gravity is already fixed and it is the historic Anglican formularies, acting as a faithful interpretation of Holy Scripture, B) the 39 Articles of Religion especially state our doctrine and reinforce the authority and integrity of the Scriptures, C) the Ordinal requires clergy, especially bishops, to banish and drive away all erroneous and strange doctrines. When is the last time an Episcopal or Anglican churchman in the United States made those sorts of claims in an official capacity? We might have to go back as far as Bishops Meade or McIlvaine. It’s incredible." adfontesjournal.com/steven-wedgewo…
