The Nazis didn’t like them because they were more ethnic particularist than White universalist, and their deep emphasis on Protestant Christianity, especially Baptist and evangelical, their hostility to Catholicism, traditional Anglo mores, their free markets and individualist spirits rubbed them the wrong way. The Klan was concerned with mass immigration from Europe into the United States, as Anglo-Americans were fast becoming a minority in their own country. In the 1920s, numbering 5 million strong, lead by prominent, wealthy and educated community members, especially pastors pressured President Calvin Coolidge into passing the 1924 immigration act, which severely lowered the total numbers of immigrant inflows, and restricted them to mostly northern and Western Europe, at the cost of absorbing millions of German Americans. In the end, they did in fact fall to minority status among both White Americans and non-Hispanic, non-Whites.

I used to fly a lot. Mainly work stuff. We'd be out in the world somewhere shooting something. At the end of the job I'd fly home to LA. And every single time (without fail) there'd be some smoking hot chick on the flight. Sometimes I'd chat with these girls. Even tho I knew the answer, I'd ask them why there were going to LA. These girls were the cutest/hottest girls in their little towns or suburbs, and all their lives people told them "you could be a movie star!" So one day, they decided to move to LA and become a movie star. The issue with their plan was this: out of the (literal) hundreds of thousands of young women (and men too) who moved to LA every year trying to make it big, only a handful got any sort of acting work. And only one or two of those became household names. The cheap and plentiful oversupply of ambitious beautiful young women (who were willing to do whatever it takes to become famous) created some moral quandaries for the men of the film industry, which culminated in the moral panic known as Me Too. These days the hot chicks don't flock to LA like they used to. Because in the post-MeToo Hollywood, with it's feminized management, female sexuality isn't all that welcome. Now there's a big correction currently taking place, but over the past decade or so most of the big decisions have made by "teams" of women. Which was a stark contrast to the historical norm: decision by Horny Dude. If you know anything about the fairer sex, you know that groups of middle age women do not like to have young hot babes hanging about--which is why the leading ladies of the past decade have been (how to put this?) not quite so desirable. But we still make hot chicks. Every graduating class has a few. And they still have that unquenchable lust for fame. So where are they? Where do the Beauty Queens from Smallsville Kansas go? Well... they're doing porn. They're on Only Fans, or they're doing soft-porn "modeling" and "influencing" on social media. And now we're seeing actual successful actresses like Shannon Elizabeth doing it too. Her sexuality wasn't welcome in the mainstream entertainment industry, so she found a place where her assets had value. It's a brilliant arbitrage play for an aged-out actress, and I'm glad she's getting paid what she's worth. So what about the rest of the Hawt Gurls? The ones who want to be Sidney Sweeney? It would be nice if we still had Horny Dudes in charge of Hollywood. Because maybe those horny guys would actually value what these young women bring to the table. Because great beauty is rare. And it would be nice to see these girls get real jobs.
