Matt Ryan has only 16 more passing touchdowns and only about 5,000 more passing yards than Eli Manning despite having Roddy White and Julio Jones for a combined 18 seasons and 5 years of Tony Gonzalez. One year, Jones, White and Gonzalez combined over 3,000 receiving yards. Eli Manning had 4 years of Plaxico Burress, 3 good years of Victor Cruz and 4 good years of Odell Beckham Jr., none of which overlapped. Oh and before you look at the starts, Matt Ryan made only 2 less career starts than Eli Manning. @NYK_Mentality85 This iteration of the Knicks with Brunson have always responded well after an L, they always have. Game 2 & 5 vs Detroit, Game 3 & 5 vs Boston. They’ve lost B2B games in the Playoffs 3 times in 4yrs and all 3 have been to the same team. I’m not worried, Knicks in 5.

The Knicks haven't "officially failed to do our job" until Atlanta "wins 4 games". That's when the #Playoffs became #Official. I know dramatic negativity is engagement but it's now the best of 5 and as a 90's Knicks fan since Patrick Ewing I've been here before. 1-1 isn't official nothing other than officially being the best of a 5 game series and I'll take the Knicks over Atlanta in a 5 game season all day every day. Just my thoughts about the words "official" or "officially failed".

Clearly, a lot of people either value clout/bravado over integrity, or don't understand what PLAYOFFS SPORTS involves... but winning game 1 at home is not reason to dismiss a team, you didn't even do your job. Now, the Knicks officially failed to do their job. All that celebrating, (not even the people outside msg) I saw A LOT of content, talking about "in 5" or sweep, based on one game, it was getting a little too crazy on here. We like learning lessons at the expense of our success. This is who we are as an organization. unfortunately.
