Ibom Air by Akwa Ibom State. Cally Air by Cross River State. Enugu Air by Enugu State. Imo Air by Imo State. But Nigeria is really behind because Gabon has one carrier? Meanwhile, Air Gabon stopped operations in 2006. The carrier was shut down due to financial collapse and a heavy debt burden. Gabon again attempted a resurrection with Gabon Airlines in 2007 - which operated with only two Boeing 767-200 jets. But that also failed in 2012, for the exact same reasons as the first: financial collapse and heavy debt burden. FlyGabon, launched in 2024, is Gabon's third attempt at sustaining a national carrier - and they are already facing the same familiar tremors as their two previous failed attempts. But Nigeria is really far behind because Gabon owns a struggling carrier, when 4 Nigerian states run far more sustainable airlines. Sister, stick to being an organizer of staged protests, perfecting the logistics of ₦2,000 mobilization fees and the choreography of borrowed outrage. Those are respectable skills you can harness to becoming a professional propagandist. Leave the weightier matters of state to those with the decency and the education for it.
