we made improvements to the @dodopayments checkout. skeleton loading so customers see something instantly instead of staring at a blank screen. cancel URL support so if someone changes their mind they can exit cleanly instead of closing the tab and wondering if something got charged. also added back button navigation. sounds basic but most checkout flows trap you in a forward-only tunnel. now customers can go back, change things, move through steps naturally. small details. massive impact on conversion.

AI-generated code looks clean. But after reviewing the code: 1. Duplicate components 2. Same UI, slightly different names

@DRudhamoy That alone makes you stand out more than any feature you add. Most people won't even do that much.

I wanted to add more features to it, knowing when to stop is a serious skill now. Vibe coding is awesome for speed, but dangerous for design. Most AI-generated landing pages look the same because we rely on default color palettes. If you want to ship fast and look unique, you have to own your colors. Let’s move past the generic purple gradients.

@zuess05 Ofc the user without a question. I did challenge myself and ship within 48hrs last week, Not a single user. Could be: 1. No use case - no one give a shit. 2. No proper distribution 3. Haven't promoted enough

Be brutally honest. What is actually harder: building a quick MVP in 48 hours, or getting the first 10 people to actually give a sh*t about it?

Google Stitch introduced a new concept: DESIGN . md Like README . md but for design systems. A plain markdown file that LLMs read to generate consistent UI. An awesome collection of DESIGN . md files inspired by developer-focused websites like Stripe, Vercel, Linear, Notion, Figma and more. Drop one into your project. Your AI coding agent builds the rest.

What's the hardest part of your first 100 users? → Getting them to install → Getting them to open it twice → Getting them to pay → Getting them to tell friends For me it's the second open. That's where most apps die. #buildinpublic #indiedev

AI keeps doing this in React and it’s wrong. you may think it is okay. When you put business logic, state management, and UI in one file, you’re creating a Context Trap.. Imagine AI has to read all those 400 lines of code , just to add some more code in the UI . Your token used up.

I’m happy to announce that I started a new position as a professional vibe code cleaner. Can’t wait to: • fix security issues • debug spaghetti code for days • fight technical debt and bad architecture Wish me good luck.

This is why reviewing code is mandatory. You have to treat AI as your junior. This is the results of training AI model with public data. and AI assume that this is the correct way to handle hooks and continue suggesting buggy, non-standard code lol. What if I let Github use my codebase to train their model?🤣 This is what it looks like behind the working 48hr vibe coded web-app.

Now that AI is doing 99% of coding, writing tests as an indie hacker makes perfect sense for the first time.
