Rep. Ramirez (D-IL) says in Spanish: "I am a proud Guatemalan before I am American"

JUST IN: A stressed Rachel Maddow, who has been whining about Trump for a decade now, declares that we are living under a "consolidating dictatorship." Maddow accused the Trump administration of wanting to feed illegal immigrants to alligators. "We do now live in a country that has an authoritarian leader in charge. We have a consolidating dictatorship in our country." "They're trying to make it into a national entertainment to threaten to feed immigrants to alligators."

@RockChartrand @salajm @WorldDomStudios @mattsw_g @automatedidiocy Marx' theories led to evil deeds and programs. I do not want to live in a Marxist society. Doesn't change the fact that he was a creative, in-depth economist. PS Nazis were extremely anti-Marxist, so drop them from your list. Thanks.

That chart is misleading because it only shows where CO2 is produced, not who buys the products. Consumption Matters: The EU buys many goods made in China. If you account for these "outsourced" emissions, the EU's carbon footprint is significantly larger than the chart suggests. Per-Person View: China has 1.4 billion people to the EU's 450 million. On a per-person basis, their emissions are much more comparable. Green Investment: The chart ignores that China is the world's #1 investor in renewable energy, making green tech cheaper for everyone. Europe's Strategy: A smart strategy is to (1) take responsibility for its consumption with policies like a carbon border tax (CBAM) and (2) collaborate with China, which is mass-producing the green tech needed for the global transition.
