Here's another good resource on movement of the enslaved back and forth throughout the Americas: slavevoyages.org And it wasn't just slavery that had people moving around the Americas. It was also our ancestor's reaction to slavery. The "Underground Railroad" went south.

Glad you said this, because ive been digging into my family history. Grenada kept excellent records from that time period. Surprised me when I found out that I have an ancestor that was trafficked from northern Grenada to Charleston, SC.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but a building spanning 40,000 acres is not just for “AI” and “internet.” I beg you to wake the fuck up.

Kevin O'Leary's massive data center was approved by a county commission in Utah last night. At 40,000 acres, it would be 2.5x the size of Manhattan. The commission approved the proposal despite opposition from hundreds of locals.

Chinese high-speed rail? Built in three years, over 1.3 billion passengers in its first decade. California high-speed rail? Still not operating, nearly 20 years after approval. Our new video explains how this happens.

Guys 44000 acres is larger than the city of Green bay and its metro area which houses 300k people. They are doing more than building a data center there.

I like that building high speed rail in California requires nine thousand years of environmental impact studies but throwing up a data center the size of Texas takes fourteen seconds with zero material public support.
