Confession #5 I drank an entire 12 pack of full sugar Redbull during the 48 hour contest period for Salvation's Edge. After we decided to take a break I slept for about 4 hours and then I shot straight up like a cartoon character and I have never felt so alert and rested immediately after waking up any other time in my life. I got the clear though and I don't regret it at all. Contest SE was one of a kind

@esperavt i would agree with you if they stated anywhere abusing exploits is bannable, but there is literally no mentions of banning such behavior. And no, people abusing exploits don't whine, they just move on if the exploit is fixed, if anything the other side are annoying crybabies.

So... The Expedition bonus for scrappy just doesn't do anything does it? 1 long raid = 8 Materials 2 long raids = 16 materials That's the exact same as without it.

@prometheus3375 @TheAegisRelic You have special ammo modifier in your shooting range which is supposed to increase all special ammo weapons but it only increases energy slot ones.

@TheAegisRelic Are you sure about that? For me it does 674 vs. cabal boss and Shoreline Dissident does 899. No damage perks.

Also, the dungeon sniper (Conspiracy Honed) does ~50% more damage (642.128 vs. 427.926) than a regular 140RPM sniper, and consequently does around the same DPS as manually reloaded Nighthawk Still Hunt with Vorpal + Bait + DARCI if you abuse Dynamic Heat Limiter correctly.

@Smellon6 @TheAegisRelic I'm also thinking that there is also a rounding error being in play here. If there is a lot of little numbers from scorch, unravel, etc. and damage numbers are very low because of -40, wipe screen will be very different than what was actually dealt to the healthbar

Equilibrium health testing done (normal / contest): Harrow: 206,963 / 232,610 Sere: 143,884 / 250,428 250,428 converted to +0 = 781,538 - closest to Koregos' entire non-final healthbar on normal (~757K) - DPS requirement per player: 6956 (for reference, -40 Koregos: 5618)

@paul4ner idk why this is being hyped. Anyone who actually uses NS knows landing 5 needles on one target is inconsistent asf if there’s distance or ads nearby. one stray ad & a needle goes flying. i think its 1 of the weakest of these warlock buffs. but yes if u get all 5 then maybe, sure

@PaulTassi At the end of the activity you should have at least 10000 points on bottom right, if it's less some objective bugged out and didn't count (more likely) or you haven't done your bonus objective and didn't notice.

Hey all! Got some personal news on the job front. In the coming weeks, I'll be transitioning to a different position within Bungie. I'll still be dedicated to Destiny 2, but with a few different focuses and responsibilities under the title of Principal Communications Manager. While my focus is shifting fully to communication strategy within Destiny 2's franchise marketing leadership team, I'll still be a small piece in the big Bungie puzzle of ensuring your voices are heard within the studio. Overall we're looking to continue transparent communications, honest exchanges with humility, and even fuel future hype through this position.... and more within the publishing organization here at Bungie! With all that said, you'll be seeing some Community Team listings on our careers portal soon. We'll be looking for a backfill to take my previous role, and we're looking to fill a few other positions between Community/Technical Community Manager seats.
