Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is expected to confirm the appointment and the inquiry’s terms in the Commons today. 🔴 Pressure has been mounting since the inquiry was first announced in June - yet the process has dragged on for months. 🔴 The final two candidates reportedly dropped out in October, raising fears the appointment would take even longer. 🔴 Multiple members of the victim liaison panel reportedly resigned amid concerns over the scope and direction of the probe. This isn’t just bureaucracy - it’s the same establishment instinct to delay, dilute, and manage the fallout. Victims deserve truth, justice, and consequences - not another stitched-up exercise with “terms” designed to avoid embarrassment. Will this inquiry finally expose the cover-ups, or will it be another whitewash dressed as accountability?

The right training MUST be put in place for judges. My judge had no idea what coercive control meant and cited reasons for not guilty such as waiting to report the crime. Secondly, court transcripts must be free of charge to encourage transparency and scrutiny.
