I talked to two Israeli sources on why Iranian launches continue to increase, despite US-Israeli claims that they have destroyed almost all of the launchers. Here is what they said: 1) The 90–95% drop in volume claimed by CENTCOM earlier in the month was probably a temporary lull as Iran repositioned its remaining launchers into hardened sites. Independent satellite analysis suggests that a significant portion of the "80% destruction" claimed by the IDF actually hit high-fidelity decoys. 2) Despite fewer launchers, the lethality per strike has increased. Iran's shift to cluster warheads has allowed a single missile to impact multiple locations simultaneously, compensating for the lower volume of launches 3) Iran has successfully set up mobile, underground units able to fire at steady rates. Iran used that quiet period to move their remaining ~100-120 heavy launchers into "Super-Hardened" facilities 4) Iran is utilizing its Zolfaqar and Dezful road-mobile launchers. These units move from hardened tunnels to pre-surveyed launch spots, fire, and return underground in under 10 minutes, often before coalition drones can re-task for a strike. 5) Because these launching units are decentralized, it is very hard for US and Israeli intelligence to get info on them. Israel and the United States do not have an answer to this problem. That is why they are trying escalation on energy sources instead. But that is backfiring.

The hits to the energy infrastructure in the Gulf are starting to have real long term impacts. Here are some of the main consequences: 1) Ras Laffan Industrial City in Qatar: Damage is so severe it may take 3–5 years to repair, threatening multi-year shortages for Europe and Asia. 2) SAMREF Refinery in Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia was using Yanbu to bypass the Strait of Hormuz. Attacking this port cuts off the primary alternative for getting Saudi crude to Western markets. 3) Mina Al-Ahmadi & Mina Abdullah in Kuwait: These are among the largest refineries in the Middle East. Losing them removes hundreds of thousands of barrels of gasoline and diesel from the global market daily. 4) Shah & Habshan Gas Facilities in the UAE: These facilities underpin the UAE’s domestic power and desalination. Hits here force local energy to stay home, further reducing what can be exported. Add to this the damage to Iranian capacity in The reason prices are going up is not just the Straits of Hormuz but serious disruption of production and refining capacity. Some of it long-term. And this is just the beginning.

High Point went 30-4, hasn't lost since mid-January - and wouldn't have sniffed an at large bid Miami (OH) went undefeated in the regular season, finished 31-1 and ended up in Dayton We REALLY need to re-evaluate how we go about selecting at-large teams for the NCAA Tournament

Confirming a longstanding geopolitical theory, Netanyahu says that he "envisions" oil pipelines running from the Gulf countries West through Israel to the Mediterranean to Europe to avoid conflicts with Iran in the future. The move would dramatically improve Israel's standing in the world. Follow: @AFpost

I interviewed Joe Kent in 2021 and he hasn't changed a single bit. Everyone claiming that he has, doesn't know what the f they're talking about. Excerpt: Kent has been very outspoken on his non-interventionist foreign policy beliefs, so Gateway asked if this is how he always felt, or if it was brought on by his wife’s tragic death. He explained that he had these beliefs since about 2005, when he realized that we were sold war on lies — but that he only felt that it was his place to speak out after she passed away. “I realized that we had pretty much invaded Iraq on lies and we continued to double down on failure,” Kent said. “I realized there was no one behind the curtain at Oz and we were really just serving the political ruling class, and their hubris.” Kent explained that he feels a lot of the reason we did not pull out was because too many people in DC had too big of egos to admit that they were wrong and had made a mistake. He explained that when Barack Obama came on the scene and promised to get us out, though he didn’t like him, he was happy to hear it. Unfortunately, that was not the case. “He ended up being a George Bush who could read off the teleprompter much better,” he said. Then, Trump came along. “Trump really refreshed me. I really liked the way he came in and was like ‘these wars are dumb, we have to crush ISIS and get the hell out of there,’” Kent said. “I was like, that’s the most complete thought I’ve heard on foreign policy in my entire time fighting these wars. So, Trump had me at that.” Kent said that beyond that, Trump had tried to pull the troops out of Syria — and if he had been successful, his wife may still be alive today. “We had reached our military objective. We had crushed the caliphate. My wife would be alive today, had the permanent ruling class not disobeyed President Trump,” Kent said in no uncertain terms. “Despite all the personal grief I was going through, it was the most traumatic thing I’ve ever had to do, it really clarified things for me that it is my duty to start speaking out on these issues.” Kent said that we can secure our country without being in these forever wars, but that there is a permanent political class that wants to keep us there — and they will do it if we don’t stop them.
