Nice sunrise for some... Snow already at ME-NB border at 6:30am spreads across NB parts W NS this am then eastern areas aftn-eve (see pics). Snow changes to rain SW areas. Heaviest snow S & E CB with some heavier amts E NB-PEI and high ground N NS. Say 2-3cm HRM & SJ.

Dakota Joshua is in the lineup, replacing Alexei Toropchenko, who was struck in the foot with a puck late in the Buffalo game.

RB J.D. McKissic - who intended to sign a two-year, $7 million deal with the Buffalo Bills - changed his mind and is instead returning to Washington for the same compensation, per sources.

Some of the most outrageous terrain I explored around the Cheticamp River, Nova Scotia. And I explore a lot ;) @TourismCB @HikeNS

Fog may dissipate more quickly today: temps in 30's & dew points in 20's gives humidex in 40's. Serious heat. Early am t-storms Bay Chaleur. Models have possible late day t-storm Lunenburg-Halifax? Cold front with thunderstorms into NB late Sat then PEI-NS early Sunday. Relief.

Today's COVID briefing is scheduled to start at 3pm. Typically, the daily case numbers come out right before, so I'll be live-tweeting them both on this thread.

@BishopsCellar Is the NSLC considered essential? I can’t think of any reason why they would be if you aren’t.

What’s your current favourite Halifax Chinese food restaurant that’s open now? Bonus... best dishes at said resto. PS I tend to judge by the quality of the won ton soup and go from there...
