This confirms 2 things about Connected Franchise in #NHL27:
1. No fantasy draft (but the ability to use custom rosters means you could in a roundabout way).
2. The devs KNOW & are not trying to hide/sugarcoat that things are missing, but need your FEEDBACK to guide the future.

Some bad news for #NHL27 Connected Franchise… No Fantasy Draft and as we predicted no player development. With the mode essentially being one season, I think Fantasy Draft is a must to help even out the teams and add some excitement to each playthrough

The funniest part about all of the people blaming the Canadian forest fires on CO₂ emissions is that CO₂ is actually a fire suppressant. But if you’re going to argue that CO₂ is causing more favorable “fire weather” conditions, well that isn’t true, at least in Canada. Hot days and drought have not increased since 1910.
The increase in Canadian forest fire burn area (which only emerged in 2023) is due to primarily the buildup of fuel on the ground from decades of fire suppression practices. It is a story all too common in North America and elsewhere.

Trump: We are holding Canada responsible for the fact that they are not properly maintaining their Forests, and Brush therein, and the United States is being unnecessarily invaded by filthy, polluted, and unhealthy air, the quality of which is dangerous, and totally unacceptable! I will call the Prime Minister during the day to find out what they are going to do about it. The cost is incalculable! Canada has refused to engage in basic Forest Management and Debris Removal, knowing that such refusal will lead to exactly this result. This is Willful Negligence, and becoming a yearly occurrence, costing the United States Billions of Dollars, which cost of this pollution must of necessity be added to the TARIFFS Canada is currently paying.
