Aftermath of what seems to have been a violent 7am eviction in Stoneybatter this morning where bailiffs smashed windows with baseball bats. At lunch 20+ Garda, 7 cars & the helicopter were there to prevent reoccupation - in effect once more legitimizing an illegal eviction

Some photos of 23 Prussia St now. The space has been taken back but it’s been badly damaged. People that live there say bedrooms have been covered in oil, every toilet has been smashed and windows and appliances have been broken. Spaces used for community events…

A barrage of bricks thrown and multiple ladders mounted on the building the remaining occupant has been dragged off the roof, almost killed in the process. Guards standing by doing nothing.

In Dublin of 2021 you can hire a team of scumbags to throw bricks at a woman trapped on a roof and physically drag her two stories to the ground and the guards will do nothing

Stationed at the back wall of the site in Grangegorman campus I can hear activity inside. Glass smashing, wood breaking, roof panels torn off the shed as the evictors seek to ensure that even after they leave the site remains uninhabitable.
