@ThePrimeagen My median is probably 50, but my average is >200. Debugging stuff results in super small changes a lot of times, but adding features makes it easy to do 500 lines in a day. Also at the senior level there are requirements and documentation to focus on (especially in aerospace).

Btw avg software engineer ships 10-50 LoC/day. A junior with falsely inflated self-confidence might ship 200 shitty lines. You have to be an absolute dumbass disconnected from any figment of reality to claim your goal is 15k/day. It’s a misleading and toxic claim. 15k/day CVEs.

turns out that if you don't use many dependencies, you don't get conflicts. 🗿
packaging into an executable also technically prevents me from dealing with the distribution problems.

@TheNathanNS I haven't read the UK lawsuit, but there's one in the US about them threatening developers over pricing when games are sold standalone on other platforms.

Wait, so Valve does actually take down games for off-platform pricing differences even when there's no key involved? 💀 Just saw the class action lawsuit in my email today, but they didn't provide a source for that quote from Valve.

@TheNathanNS Developers set regional prices. Valve provides suggestions and most developers don't update them after release, so changing exchange rates will skew pricing.
Also I think the 20% VAT is included in the list price. In the US, taxes are added on top of the list price.
