Drew McIntyre explains why house shows never made sense to him profit wise. “These days, I probably wrestle one match every couple of months. They finally eliminated most of the non-televised shows. One, the talent were just getting hurt all the time and going out quicker, and two, from a profit standpoint, it just didn’t make sense. It never made sense to me, profit-wise. I genuinely think this is where the honeymoon period finished. Punk is one of the greatest promos ever, but he got obliterated v Kingston, probably lost out to MJF, and when Hangman said something else that hit home, he couldn’t take it anymore Give him Seth, Roman etc… people who can’t compete with him on the mic, people he can dog walk who won’t upset him
