I have a great way to combine a 24-team postseason with an 8-team playoff… -After conference title games, committee selects 24 teams to play in 12 bowl games (there are NO other bowls) -They are played over 7 days (skipping Sunday) and by December 18th you have 12 winners -The committee then selects 8 playoff teams from the 12 winners to play on New Year’s Eve/Day -Semi-finals a week later, finals on MLK night You’re welcome. (I fully realize this is way too good to ever happen!)

Funny thing is that to get to this proposed data center site - opponents have to literally be bussed right past and then 15 miles to the west of the "Rocket Ranch". 22,000 acres. 800+ buildings. 4.6 million square feet of manufacturing. At its peak- it employed 6500 workers. Rocket Ranch is Northrup Grumman's Promontory Plant - aka ATK/Thiokol. It produces the massive Solid Rocket Motors (SMRs) for NASA’s SLS Artemis program and U.S. ICBMs including the new Sentinel missile. This heavy-industrial military site has been building and testing rocket motors, mixing propellants etc for 70 years. The two locations are 15 miles apart. Protestors have to drive past the manufacturing facility for ICBM rocket motors to protest a data center that will produce: "23 atom bombs of heat" each day. Ironic.

@Manhattva I would say eventually. There is a bunch of red tape for a power plant to be connected to the grid. Allow it to be built independently while it gets approvals over time.

6. Connect the data center into Utah’s grid and allow it to provide a backup. If there was a power shortage in the state or some sort of natural disaster that took us off-line.

Terms for allowing the data center in Utah. 1. No H1B visas allowed for construction or full time jobs there. 2. Prioritize all full time hires from Utah and make the bar to hire from out of the state extremely high. 3. Make sure the power and energy that comes from gas pipelines is sourced from outside of Utah and will it result in a net increase in energy cost to Utahns. (Already done. Current pipeline comes from out of state and was dedicated to Oregon until they passed legislation to stop all new fossil fuels) 4. Even though it will not be using nearly as much water as the average person believes, make sure that it will result in being a net surplus of water to the state of Utah through assignment of water, rights, or far more ideally actually building pipelines to the state. 5. Demonstrate that it will provide a significant tax base that doesn’t currently exist. (already done. Current tax receipts for this property is $200,000 to box Elder County. Will result in $100 million annual tax base to Box Elder County and $250 million annually to the state of Utah.) Those are my terms.

@chamath In the past, news stations had limited time or space. Editing an interview was needed. With the internet, those limits are gone. Every interview should be uploaded in its entirety.

Next time anyone with political ambitions agrees to an interview, they should also have their own cameras and record/tape the entire thing. The agreement is then simple and obvious: the media has to tell the truth or you release the full version.
