Its wild to me how divisive @THORChain seems to be. This protocol solved a "holy grail" problem the industry desperately needed to be solved and achieved "the impossible". Any coiner should be in appreciation for achieving something that we all use & take for granted today

Probably time to retire V2 pools entirely, return the assets to treasury and migrate to Rujira CCL entirely. the system & pieces are already there with rapid swaps, advanced swap queue, virtualization strategy, and CCL It's just less risk & better efficiency all-together.

Important Announcement Trading on THORChain is currently halted after a vault was compromised. Initial indications are user funds are safe and only protocol owned funds are affected. The network automatically detected abnormal behavior and halted signing activity, which alerted the broader community and prevented further outbound transactions. The investigation is still ongoing to determine the root cause. Contributors are actively working on the issue and we will report updates as we progress toward a solution. What we currently know: * One of the six Asgard vaults appears to have been compromised. * Current estimates place the loss at approximately $10.7m USD * The network automatically detected the abnormal behavior and halted signing activity, preventing further outbound activity. * Nodes securing the vault were subject to their bonded RUNE being slashed as a result of the unauthorized outbound transactions. * Churn activity has been paused while the investigation and remediation efforts are ongoing. * Onboarding additional chains and operations requiring churns will be delayed until the network is stabilized. * Initial indications show no individual user swaps were affected. We are asking all node operators to immediately review their infrastructure, hosts, key management systems, and operational security for any signs of compromise or abnormal behavior, and to report anything suspicious in Discord. Node operators participating in the affected vault are requested to securely provide Bifrost logs to the dev team for analysis using 'make relay' .

I'm a computer science professor (views are my own and not of my university). As a computer scientist who has spent a lot of time studying agentic AI, I can tell you with some confidence that LLMs are NOT conscious. And as a Christian, I can tell you with 100% certainty that they are not conscious. They do not possess a rational soul. They are not made in the image of God. They are artifacts of human craft, not persons. I do not envy atheists right now. The existential crisis that agentic AI in particular must pose will inevitably lead to an all-consuming nihilistic spiral. Their entire worldview is built upon ever-shifting sand. It's up to us believers to be there for them and show them The Rock they will be so desperate to stand upon. Pray for Dr. Dawkins and other atheists who are struggling with meaning right now.

For the few of us still in this shitcoin industry where are you mostly lurking around? It feels like there’s really EVM (Eth mainnet and some EVM L2s like Base, Arbitrum…maybe Ink if you’re just farming airdrops), Hyperliquid, and Solana ecosystem are the only places relevant. Is anyone actually going beyond that? Feels like there’s just no real activity or deep liquidity anywhere else. Like when was the last time you even touched Avalanche? And if you’re using Sui… what for? I mean yeah, there are some niche pockets $TAO subnets, privacy stuff like$ XMR and $ZEC but those are pretty fringe, not used on a day to day basis. Besides that, $NEAR is the only other L1 I end up using at all, just for the cross-chain intents. I haven’t messed with Monad or Megaeth that much. Id lean to tempo and arc over these if I had to pick but too early At this point, a Rabby + Phantom (or Jupiter) probably cover 90%+ of anything you’d realistically trade. Consolidating is good I guess, too many wallets of ghost chains or shitcoins.
