I'm amazed at the reports coming out of @Eagles training camp; the QB comp %, TD tracking, the offense is struggling, the defense is dominating rhetoric! Philly's own media finds ways to add fuel to the national medias rhetoric around this team! #Sad
First: the defense should be dominant, most starters have been in this system for going on 3 yrs, and the missing or weak link, the left CB is now a position of strength!
Next, the offense is going to be slower to develop. There's a new OC, QB, OL, and TEs/run game coordinator coaches! As well as some new faces being integrated on offense! Stands to reason that the offense is finding its way after "3" days! Give the offensive players & coaches time to sync up, damn!
This lag is a major flaw with the new #CBA, #OTAs, and the lack of player/coach interaction in the off-season! That's a whole other post! I do not find this daily report card helpful, reporting negativity 3 days into camp! Can the players get a padded practice or 2 before the evaluations begin? Geez🙄🙄 #GoBirds 🦅

Jalen Hurts Training Camp Stats Day 3:
It was yet another really tough day to be Jalen Hurts — but this time it looked like he held more of the blame than Day 2
Hurts was “sacked” on 8 of his 24 drop backs due to a combination of poor blocking and Hurts holding onto the ball too long. Obviously not being able to see replays it was possible nobody was open, but this was the longest Hurts has held the ball in the three days of practice
The most disappointing part of practice from the offense was a red zone drill, a drill where traditionally the offense can stack up some touchdowns
Instead the offense ran six plays inside the 20 and didn’t get a single TD. Hurts was 1/3 on the drive. There was a flag thrown on his final pass in the end zone, but it looked like the pass wouldn’t have been completed either way to Lemon. Hurts had a swing pass to Saquon batted away by Trotter Jr, who read the play perfectly
Towards the end of practice the offense had a competitive drive against the defense, a series that was six plays and the defense won four of them. Hurts had a nice throw to Wicks over the middle which was the highlight of the drive.
Hurts had a chance to hit Lemon deep but the pass was overthrown. It was tight coverage so unclear if Hurts overthrew it or Lemon didn’t get to the spot in time
Overall it was not a positive day for the offense at all

2026 Stats: 40/56, 0 TD, 0 INT

Quel privilège d’avoir accueilli Sena Catterall au sein de notre équipe des @ExposFest All-Stars aujourd’hui à Pierrefonds.
Senna est une athlète exceptionnelle qui représente Équipe Canada au baseball et qui a également été repêchée cette année par l’équipe de Detroit de la LPHF.
Elle nous a offert tout un spectacle en réalisant un attrapé spectaculaire au champ extérieur.
Merci, Sena, d’avoir partagé cette journée avec nous. Tu es une véritable athlète de haut niveau, et nous te souhaitons énormément de succès dans tes deux sports!

What an absolute treat it was having Sena Catterall on our #Expos All Star team in Pierrefonds. Sena not only plays for @baseballcanada on the diamond but was also drafted this year to play in the @thepwhlofficial for Detroit. She made an amazing catch in the outfield today. What an incredible 2 sport athlete. Thank you for being there with us today Sena.
