@RiftboundMeta Why riot? I can understand any color being the secondary counter spell type (with green being the primary) but why the hell is it purple when purples main purpose is drawing cards.

@KashMann27 Live is just unusable the last week, poffin takes me 2 minutes to use in about 25% of games

Takes forever to play out 3 turns. Wastes 10 minutes for no good reason. Use ability to knock out an ex Pokemon while I'm down to 2 prizes. 🤦‍♂️

4:1 in Day 2 good enough to secure a European Nationals invite or whatever. To my understanding this means I’m locked for all 3 Regions Nationals. Really underwhelmed with the result but I have to learn to accept that variance & hitting bad matchups is a part of TCGs.

Dropped from a Pokémon cup today (still missing a bunch of cards for my EUIC list) but won a Skirmish yesterday for my Rd1 bye at Vegas (playing the worst new deck for the Best of Trophy)

@thefleeee I paid 45 for each Arc Vstar and 40 each Lugia Vstar and I didn’t even go to LAIC Nov 2022.

I remember in 2011 when people were scrambling in the open play room at nationals offering $80-90 for a single copy of Yanmega Prime, then months later Mewtwo EX was the new hot card at the same price, then Darkrai EX I also remember when Shaymin EX and Tapu Lele EX were a minimum of $60 per copy and you needed 3-4 to just play the game We live in a time where Pokemon TCG is the cheapest and most accessible, I complain about the price of Pokepad but in reality I would've been happy paying the $6-10 per copy with expedited shipping because I remember the days when it was impossible to get cards

@gearhartpkmn Depends on Electivire is considered a Player Effect and/or individual Pokemon effects? Should be everything except the Vire right if it’s an And. Mime doing an effect on all Pokemon and to the player. Mist blocks that specific effect from Mime for itself.

Electivire with a Mist-Energy attached uses Unleash Lightning. Mr. Mime uses Look-Alike Show, choosing a Pokémon Ranger from the opponent's hand. Which of the Electivire player's Pokémon can now attack, if any?

@ElizaSheetposts @panomics yes not feasible now, but i think clifton is making it known so pokemon doesnt repeat this mistake the next 5 years. (and it solves a secondary issue of rising ticket costs with no return/packs for players)

@Da_L0c @panomics Last I heard it wasnt specified why, but that still doesnt fix the issue of needing to have dedicated people power to the task of making and packing these since they would need unique packing. Not to mention it would change their supply number, something I doubt they'd do

I cannot stress how correct of a decision this is - Product is delayed - Prices are out of control - Stores aren't going to have enough product to open making single difficult to get I would rather see the tournament decided by skill than who has the hook up MASSIVE W

@panomics While great in theory, they would need to have printed enough supply for that and dedicated resources to packing them Which the product delay alone indicates it isn't an option

@colvp05 @aschemanske well it will be actually closer to $5 (and 25 cents by Perfect Order) and pokemon could just delay it for locals and make the exception for EUIC

EUIC just got 100x more boring, and every cool deck I had is now tossed out the window for a stale format. Yay!

@Da_L0c @thefleeee It's unfortunate but if there was a "competitors only" access of any kind, you'd create a new problem where people register as competitors who have no interest in actually competing.
