HUGE pet peeve of mine in the halo ce remake: some of the gun sounds do not match up with what is actually happening. this also happens with the plasma rifle
why change the ar to 32 rounds but use the sound for when it's 60 rounds? pick one or the other. this is really sloppy

Retcon everything (chronologically) after Halo 3. Chief is still asleep on the Dawn.
Have the rest of the series be a bunch of smaller scale stories about how the galaxy is adapting to a world where we are no longer at war (but also aren’t exactly at peace) with the aliens instead of just rebooting the war for no reason.
Hell, imagine a story about the everyday person having to put up with alien refugees living amongst them after years of them massacring their friends & families…. 343 could actually explore some mature & morally grey subject matter that people keep pretending they did in Halo 4

Halo 2: hated for its time, but introduced the Arbiter, a character who is literally as iconic and beloved as the Chief himself
Halo 4: 2012 to 2014, looked like it was a good story and character development for Chief and a good end for Cortana THAT IS IMMEDIATELY UNDONE because she's back as a super villain and Chief just gets his Spartan team from the books back together so he's not alone at any point.
Oh and Halo 4 tried to be COD so there's that too.

I think the reason that Halo fans hated on Halo 4's story is because they couldn't handle anything with more depth than a shallow pond. "WhAt aBouT HaLO Two!?" They hated that back then too lol (and that's why every character from Halo 2 lost 85% of their braincells in Halo 3)

Halo had a near perfect ending.
It should've ended at 3 just like Dark Souls. Would've finished at it's peak, never had a downfall and wouldn't have a single bad game in the franchise. Just think about that.
