2026 is a crucial election for TN.
They'll need to make a conscious decision on what kind of leadership needed to take them to next decade. In all aspects, I am personally unable to find a better leader than EPS at the moment. Sincerely hope TN electorate make a wise decision...

People's prosperity is determined by their culture, values and educational attainment.

Entire NDA didn't give even a single ticket to a Tamil Brahmin in 234 constituencies of Tamil Nadu. Deeply shameful behavior. What DMK does in broad daylight, AIADMK+BJP does in cover of darkness.

Based on solid and consistent values, it has been organically seeding a support base among Tamils who wish a refreshing alternative to the stale politics of the rest.
If people deny good politics a chance, they have only themselves to blame.

What’s happening in Tamil Nadu is fascinating.
Will the DMK retain its edge or will anti incumbency finally catch up? Can TVK spring a surprise? Will the AIADMK revive and push back? Is this a wave election or a constituency by constituency battle? Is there space for coalitions or are we headed for a clear verdict? There is so much chatter around Thirumavalavan. Will Dalit votes prove decisive? Have minorities made up their minds? What about women voters. Income support, vouchers, welfare schemes, or the pull of fandom and the promise of change? There is also a lot of talk about the youth vote. And it would be interesting to watch if the PMK manages to keep its community flock together. MK Stalin is seen as a composed, diligent Chief Minister. Will that work once again for the DMK? Will parties like NTK and MNM shrink or grow, and the impact of that on others…Perhaps the real answers lie in the swing districts. Tamil Nadu is on my mind. Too many questions, too many layers……

@thinak_ Naam Tamilar Katchi is the only party that cuts across castle lines. Seeman is the only leader to have openly proclaimed that he doesn't want a vote that is based on caste affiliation.
That boldness deserves a salute!

Major parties (DMK-SPA, AIADMK-NDA, NTK & TVK) have largely fielded Nadars & Thevars (Maravars) in caste-sensitive Tirunelveli and Tenkasi districts, continuing the traditional trend.
Nadars: 8 (Tvl) + 7 (T'kasi)
Thevar : 6 + 3
SC: 0 + 8 (only because two reserved constituncies in T'kasi)
Muslims: 2 + 2
Konar: 2 + 0
Pillaimar: 2 + 0
With no reserved constituencies, these parties have not fielded any SC candidates in Tirunelveli.
Among the five sitting MLAs in Tirunelveli district, two are Nadars, two are Thevars and one is a Muslim.
Tenkasi district has two Nadar, Two SC and one Thevar sitting MLAs.

Trade,

Unions,
Lands,
Educational institutions,
Reservation in Jobs
These are all at the cost of indigenous Tamils and by seizing their opportunity unfairly?
A profound answer is Yes.
