@SaffronOlive The vocal individuals are in the minority. People who are mad that cards don’t match their precious paper. Alchemy is great and should probably be leaned more into.

It's wild how Wizards thinks of Alchemy compared to how the community (at least the part of it that is vocal online) thinks of it.

Fury should not be legal in Modern. It doesn't "keep aggressive and creature decks in check", it eradicates them as a viable choice. And my focus here is on Fury for removing decks from the format. Grief should also go imo.

@PleasantKenobi @TheEmperorOppai As a humans player I never actually lost to fury, it’s just something you have to play around especially with ward effects and things like that fish seems to do well but idk any creature wide decks we have an elves player who likes playing across fury bc he plays around it

If they were that worried about it before hand, they'd have dealt with it before that, plain and simple. Enabling other decks is good, you want more decks in the format

@CubeApril hymn. because the card you would want to thoughtseize if you did it in the opposite order might get discarded at random anyway, allowing u 2 potentially ts their 2nd best card. hymn first gives u the chance to get both their first and second best cards more often.
