It is refreshing to see the term “Timurid” being used instead of “Mughal” by important voices in history.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent
.@USTreasury is issuing a temporary 30-day general license to provide the most vulnerable nations with the ability to temporarily access Russian oil currently stranded at sea. This extension will provide additional flexibility, and we will work with these nations to provide specific licenses as needed. This general license will help stabilize the physical crude market and ensure oil reaches the most energy-vulnerable countries. It will also help reroute existing supply to countries most in need by reducing China’s ability to stockpile discounted oil.

Dear Ms @HelleLyngSvends, The Embassy is organizing a press briefing on the Prime Minister’s Visit this evening at 9:30pm at hotel Raddisson BluPlaza hotel. You are most welcome to come and ask your questions there.
Helle Lyng@HelleLyngSvends

Primeminister of India, Narendra Modi, would not take my question, I was not expecting him to. Norway has the number one spot on the World Press Freedom Index, India is at 157th, competing with Palestine, Emirates & Cuba. It is our job to question the powers we cooperate with.

Pak Air Force (PAF) now has permanent bases close to the Red Sea. In a country that Pakistan’s number 1 external security threat, India, would never dare attack. This is proper horizontal strategic depth. Many have hypothesized that India could potentially decapitate all of PAF’s bases inside Pakistan within hours of an attack so as to incapacitate PAF. The merits of that claim aside, these deep air bases in Saudi Arabia now will put those hypotheses to rest for good.

🇵🇰 The man Khan fired is now running Pakistan's nukes. Think about that for a second. Munir was sacked by Khan in 2019 after just eight months as ISI chief. Eight months. Khan threw him out after he went to Tehran with the Pakistani delegation and blew up the room, went completely off the script the government had agreed on internally, used language with Iranian officials that had no business being used, and actively wrecked what could have been a genuine step toward better Pakistan-Iran ties. Iran complained directly to Khan. Khan fired him. That same man now controls 170 nuclear warheads with zero institutional checks left standing. What happened between getting fired and getting the keys is the part that should make every Pakistani furious. After the sacking, Munir allegedly flew to London and sat down with Nawaz Sharif, who was conveniently living in self imposed exile at the time. Khan called it the London Plan. The deal as Khan described it was straightforward, Munir gets army chief, Khan's government gets taken apart, his party gets destroyed, the judiciary plays along. Sounds insane until you watch it happen exactly like that, step by step, over the next three years. Munir became army chief in November 2022 in a process multiple reports said involved heavy consultations with the same Nawaz Sharif sitting in London. Within months Khan was arrested. Shariar waltzed back into Pakistan in October 2023 and had most of his convictions vacated almost overnight. By February 2024 his brother was prime minister, the elections were rigged openly and Washington and Brussels said nothing. Then Munir really got to work. He promoted himself to Field Marshal, invented a brand new title of Chief of Defence Forces, and passed the 27th Constitutional Amendment scrapping the Nuclear Command Authority that had existed since 2000. That authority existed for one reason, to make sure no single person could ever make a nuclear decision alone. It required the prime minister, the joint chiefs, the service chiefs, all in the room. All of that is now gone. Munir replaced it with the National Strategic Command, headed by himself, answerable to nobody above him. The prime minister's only remaining role is to appoint people Munir recommends. Pakistan has 170 nuclear warheads. Every single one of them now answers to one man. Khan, the man who saw all of this coming and tried to stop it, has been rotting in a cell for nearly 3 years. And Munir gets called "my favorite Field Marshal" by Trump. Source: Drop Site News

🇵🇰🇺🇸 The cable that toppled a government is finally public. On March 7, 2022, Pakistan's ambassador in Washington sat down with U.S. assistant secretary of state Donald Lu. The message was short and clear, remove Imran Khan through a no-confidence vote and Washington will look the other way. "All will be forgiven," the ambassador later recalled. Thirty three days later, Khan was gone. But this didn't start with that meeting. In June 2021, CIA Director William Burns personally flew to Islamabad to meet Khan. Waited a full day. Khan never showed. Said he'd only speak to his counterpart, meaning Biden, who had been dodging Khan's calls since day one. Burns left with nothing. Weeks later Khan went on record with Axios and just said it out loud, "Absolutely not. There is no way we are going to allow any bases, any sort of action from Pakistani territory into Afghanistan." No diplomatic cushioning, no ambiguity. Washington had its answer. Pakistan's military had seen enough of their own prime minister. In July 2021, behind Khan's back, the military quietly put a former CIA Islamabad station chief on retainer as a lobbyist in Washington. The generals were already cutting their own deal. Then came the moment that sealed it. On February 24, 2022, the exact day Russian tanks rolled into Ukraine, Khan was in Moscow shaking hands with Putin on a long scheduled visit. Biden's national security advisor Sullivan had personally called Islamabad days before urging them to cancel. Khan didn't budge. Pakistan then abstained on the UN vote condemning the invasion. Washington was done. Weeks later came the Lu meeting. The cable. And then Khan was out. What followed was a gut punch. Artillery shells started flowing to Ukraine secretly through U.S. defense contractors. American support for Pakistan's IMF lifeline was explicitly tied to keeping that weapons pipeline running. Pakistan got its $3 billion bailout in July 2023. In February 2024 the military brazenly rigged the elections and the U.S. and EU sat on their hands and said nothing. And Khan? Buried under a never ending conveyor belt of charges, corruption, contempt, national security, one case collapsing only for another to appear. He has been behind bars for nearly 3 years now. His wife still in prison. His party outlawed, stripped of its electoral symbol, barred from even fielding candidates under its own name. The cypher was always real. They called it fake, jailed the man who leaked it, and hoped everyone would move on. They didn't. Source: Drop Site News

Forget whether you like Imran Khan or not for a second... A nuclear armed country with 200+ million population may have removed an elected PM not through democratic process, but because foreign powers were unhappy and the military establishment saw him as too difficult to control. This document is genuinely one of th explosive and eye-opening reads I’ve come across in a long time. Do read it.

Man fucking urinated inside a lift…Sulabh Toilets is 10 metres walking inside any station. There are millions of elderly travelling daily. What if others started doing the same Wtf is wrong with you?
Sayema@_sayema

Elderly often have troubles holding their urine. It’s a medical issue and not difficult to understand if one wants to. Prostrate issues, loose bladder n other complications often lead to episodes of incontinence. We need sensitivity and patience. Also, a lot of understanding. In India, bigotry and hate against minorities are add ons.
